In wc3 most of the games I play are vs nightelf or undead, so naturally I am good at those matchups. Im alright at vs orc cause there are a few, but I am clueless about human vs human, because humans are a starteling minority. So just out of curiosity what race do you play?
Poll: What race do you play? (Vote): Human (Vote): Orc (Vote): Undead (Vote): Night Elf (Vote): Random
Also most players tend to pick their secondary race as the race they have most trouble with ie Lucifer going orc in ud mirror, Tod going elf. So whats your secondary race?
Poll: What is your secondary race? (Vote): Human (Vote): Orc (Vote): Undead (Vote): Night Elf (Vote): Random (Vote): None Thankyou, I just wanted to see the consensus of wc3 players, not designed to be an intellectual topic.

Random. Human secondary.
Or maybe Human primary, Orc secondary ;(
I've been playing random pretty exclusively for a while now I guess... used to be HU/Orc though

NE only, actually i'm damn bad at wc3...

Becasu my graphic card crashed and will freez in 10 mins if i run any accelerated game i haven't played W3 for at least 4 months. So returned to good ol' 2D BW.
on topic: main race : Orc - on last acc i went somethin like 50-5 with orc (didn't lost single game to UD =p ) secondary : Human - used to be my main race but i sucked badly with them and then i realized that i rox with orc ) In roc and early TFT i played Elf.So the only race i haven't played seriously is UD.And i was god damn terrible with them.

UD/NE (although HU used to be my secondary race but I didn't play it for a while and did quite a lot of NE games so now I think I'm better with NE than HU). I totally suck with OR.

I've discovered that every race can be easy to play after you've played enough games with it (at least 100 I think) that you perform most things intuitionally (tech to next tier, make more units, choosing right units for the job etc.) and you don't get confused at times, just act. That's why I have trouble playing OR (and HU now), I just can't get the timing right and it all feels odd to me. I've had it with NE at start but after playing quite a lot of games with this race I got used to it (got the "feel" of the race) and it became quite fun after a while. Btw. did you notice that most UD's secondary race is NE?

random used to be kinda good b4 switched to sc

All human. If I had a secondary race it would be either elf or undead, not sure which. I just really can't get into orc for whatever reason.

UD because they said it was the weakest race back when NE's AoW rush and all those other strats the other races have and the only viable strat you had was mass ghouls T_T
I'm a frustrated orc though

HU/ORC player, but i havent played melee in months, been playing some dota though
|
Orc mainly, oldschool, was pretty good back then... Now dota only, too easy game relaxing... though many noobs play it.

human fuck yeah
Nightelves and undead is just too weird for me to play
thats cause i suck dicks at wc3

I wonder why there are so many human players here...

Ye.. Well terran ---> human Marine & medic ---> Knight & priest

More like MM -> Rifle + caster. I don't think anyone really goes knights and priests, as pretty much anything will counter you except medium armor ground units.
Anyway, maybe SC players tend to human for some reason. Obviously the poll results are not indicative of all WC3 players, because human would certainly not be leading, or by such a great margin.

newbelf for me, I miss patch 1.02 :o/

I haven't played WC3 that much but when I do I usually play Human because they seem to have the most clear and intuitive synergy to me (ie there's clear tank units, ranged units, debuffers, buffer/healers, etc). Basically each unit has a clear role and you don't have weird units like Druids that are hard to figure out how exactly to make the best use of. My second race is probably UD.
