From what I remember all that really happened in terms of the story was that the party learned that the lizzard men they were fighting are somehow linked with wizards and dragons They also heard a rumor of a bronze dragon. So they assumed perhaps dalamar was behind there appearance. They then sought to question dalamar about the events but got stone walled at the door by uncle oris who dropped a hint that indeed it is dalamar behind everything. The party then had to waste the ring wish because bregor and abby died trying too talk to the bronze dragon.

After murdering millions of hobgoblins and some lizard men the group heard tell of a brass dragon in a desert, which was supposed to be a friendly dragon. The group went out to find it. As they found it they found it difficult to make contact with it. In an attempt to do so Azril pretty much teleported Bregor almost on top of the dragon, causing him to fall many hundreds of feet down onto Abigael who was trying to catch him. They both died. Vincent used the ring to undo it.

They then managed to contact the dragon who said it had been awoken but didn't know why or by who. He also said he was much weaker than the previously spotted green dragon. The group suggested it might have something to do with Dalamar. The dragon asked them to ask Dalamar if he had something to do with it. They agreed and the dragon then flew them (close to) Valesburg. They asked Dalamar who denied it, although hints were given that he might be lying. I think it ended with them encountering more lizardmen.
