Also, im Roman, and im now massing EI's, currently 30, but my crop is at -30/h. Is it important to keep crop at 0+ or doesnt matter ? | ||

say you're almost capped at a certain resource, and you have big raids returning, and you're building already so you can't really spend the money unless you buy more troops. or alternatively, if you're getting hit with a raid and want to hide your resources. 1) upgrade your marketplace so you have a good number of merchants 2) "sell" your extra resource at a high price so no one will buy (or if they buy, you make a huge profit) 3) when you need the resource, say if you're saving up for a building or upgrade, just "cancel" your bid and you get the resource back in full sorry if this is confusing but it's helped me manage resources without having to spend time and money upgrading warehouse/granary | ||

It doesn't matter if your teuton, roman, or gaul. A negative crop production is a GOOD thing. Just be careful, and don't let your crop get to 0, or else your troops start dying. If a unit dies due to lack of crop, he will leave half the crop it cost to make that unit... cannibalism! For example, if a clubswinger dies, you get 20 crop, because a club costs 40 crop to produce. This is so that you don't suddenly lose your entire army. | ||

So if you want to exchange iron for wood you would put iron in the bidding slot and buy wood in the other. | ||

So if you want to sell 500 crop for 500 wood you'd put bidding 500 crop and buying 500 wood. edit: OMG IM #2 OFFENCE IN SERVER 5 LOL and pgshock you should have only teched for expand if you have a steady income from raiding, I know it takes ages but thats what everyone went through :/ | ||
