I have a question about scouts. It says that they can't carry any resources, yet when I attack someone, they sometimes come back with resources. So are they able to raid also?

How much do clubs cost? I'm getting clubs on S5 since I'm Teuton and I'm curious how much cheaper they are than Legs. I was told Teutons are cheaper. ^_^ I figure I'll raid my ass off and use that to up my fields a ton.
