Oh and as usual, EVO being TERRIBLE at updating their brackets. -_- What about Daigo? 22-8? Wouldn't you call that consistently? And that was right after Poongko appeared. Nowadays, there are more Seth players and therefore also more who play this hyper-aggressive style. Didn't play well though. So far the Japanese aren't performing the way they usually do(from what we could see on stream so far).

So far the Japanese aren't performing the way they usually do(from what we could see on stream so far). It goes either way with Daigo and Poongko. Daigo actually has a losing record in tournament against Poongko (EVO 11, LG Cup). And of course Daigo would win in a longer set, because that how he usually plays in arcades, multiple games for hours. He will always download someone's playstyle in a longer set and he adjusts well. He probably would have took Xian to another set if he didn't try out Yun and Guile in their match, as he caught up near the end. All I'm saying is that Uryo and Fuudo would have a much easier time against Poongko primarily b/c their characters are good for the Seth matchup, and have proven it in tournament at least. I would honestly prefer longer first to 15 sets too, but you can't do that in tournament for obvious reasons.
