It goes either way with Daigo and Poongko. Daigo actually has a losing record in tournament against Poongko (EVO 11, LG Cup). And of course Daigo would win in a longer set, because that how he usually plays in arcades, multiple games for hours. He will always download someone's playstyle in a longer set and he adjusts well. He probably would have took Xian to another set if he didn't try out Yun and Guile in their match, as he caught up near the end. Yeah, sometimes you beat a player all the time and then you lose against him when it counts. That's the case with Daigo. Regarding the characters, you are definitely right. Kazunoko should play Seth if they meet but I kinda doubt it and so far he didn't look too good either.
By the way, if you have a good read on those hyper-aggressive Seths, characters don't even matter too much. But that's of course a hard thing to do.
