Wow that will be so cool. Destiny is going to get owned.
Are they using the entire map? It could be problematic with only a few people left. One guy could be at nw airfield and the other at cherno.

anyone knows if Destiny plays on dayZ servers as Destinyy? Cause in my chopper video I killed a guy named Destinyy and was thinking if it was the same person (it was on a US server too and I see this guy online alot).

From watching his stream, he always hides his name and has a stream delay, so I would assume he doesn't use destiny.

This will be on a Dev or Community made private modified map that will be password protected.

They should do battle royale, not hunger games 
Battle Royale would work so much better with the huge map, They could close down half the map, give everyone the standard new spawn shit, a coyote backpack with an item then they have to kill each other before a timer runs out, every hour new zones are made into danger zones with the players having 10 seconds to get out the zone before they blow up
God damn it...battle royale would be so awesome

Yeh they're playing on a modified map of berenzino. So I'm assuming its going to be a locked server.

Yes, I'm getting long loading times and if you update your game you can get stuck on loading if you launch the game a certain way (not 100% sure).
Update your game, launch through 6 launcher or DayZ commander and it should be ok.
How they managed to break even the in-game server filter I have no idea, but they are seriously taking a step backwards every patch now.
Think about the things introduced recently.
Dogs - Not in yet but set to be companions you can order around, and they possibly will be able to track other players. Because this was clamoured for so much and its so necessary to the game -_-.
Humanity - They had an OK humanity system before, where each life was tracked separately. But this is a roleplaying game, where one life you may decide to be "the good guy" but you can't because everyone will shoot you on sight, since you have a towel around your head.
Barbed wire etc - Completely unnecessary facilitating griefers. If anyone has been on 382 recently you can see some of the issues. The NW barracks is blocked off, Elektro fire station is completely blocked, as are numerous other buildings on many servers. The fact that they put these features in and even if you remove barbed wire, it comes back at the next server restart!
Breaking the game - Debug, not saving your character, tents getting broken, huge item duping problems. Numerous other bugs that are supposedly "fixes" that break it again.
Weapon changes - Not the DayZ developers, but what the hell was this? I expect to die in one hit if I get hit with a .303 round from a Lee Enfield. And pistols with .45 calibre really should take a zombie down in one hit, not just act the same as a 9mm pistol. The way they changed the weapons made the high-end guns really dominate over the others, so much so its not even worth picking some of them up (double barrelled shotgun, I'm looking at you).
Helicopter removal - This was the end-game. To be able to bomb around in helicopters was so fun when there were 3 on the servers, but now there is one and most of the time it will be missing due to the BE bug that takes it out for a week. I'd rather they just left them in, yes I know there is a risk when you fly with desync, but if something doesn't work don't get rid of it, keep it till you can fix it. That's what an alpha is for!
Hackers - Now this is the worst. Last night there was someone sat in a church on 2123 just teleporting people to him to kill them. He wasn't even killing people fast, but doing it slowly so us admins wouldn't notice a huge amount of people dying at once. Luckily it got reported and we shutdown the server, but things like this happen far too often and the developers really should be working on fixing this along with Battleye. Us server admins have to do a lot of work just to keep the server running because of hacks and we don't have the time. Thankfully we now have a decent amount of people who can help, but its still incredibly annoying.
Long rant, but there's a lot of issues with the development here and it pisses me off.

Uninstalling and reinstalling BattlEye does the trick for me when I'm stuck at the loading screen. Works 100% of the time.

Yeah that could be the problem, I had to do that a few days ago a lot, but I would always load then get kicked for incorrect battleye until I updated

I've have been away for a week or so and after reading last 10 pages I am scared. What the fuck is going on? Global battleye bans, kicking from the game, hackers on TL servers, spawning naked, spawning on the coast... I am scared to log in, lol. Is it safe, should I wear my tin foil hat or something ?

Definitely wear a tin foil hat. It's generally safe, expect to spawn on the coast a couple of times though

Is it possible to have opt-in servers? I know you can password protect them, but is it possible to have a server that only allows specific accounts in (say, everyone who provides both his dayZ name as well as his TL account)? That'd significantly reduce the risk of hackers..

No it wouldn't be possible, and its against the DayZ rules. Also we wouldn't have anyone to PvP then which would suck.

For the first time I actually agree with Maestro on this one. I cannot wait for this ****storm to develop when that goes live. I think the devs really need a wakeup call. They overlook it and push the issue to the bottom of the list consistantly. Even I sometimes don't even believe they understand how damaging the hacking really is to their reputation. We went from "can't wait to what gameplay changes will be in the standalone" to "I hope it has better security because the hacking is absolutely retarded".
