this game is like 80% boring and 20% sheer terror. It is essentially a sandbox game with no real "goal." most of the TLers here get there kicks looking for the biggest and most badass equipment they can find, and then using it to PvP in the areas with high populations. But you can really play however you want. If you are looking for a game with nonstop action then this is probably not the game for you though.

Its sandbox, anything can happen and that's the beauty of it. Generally the goal is to get good loot, stash it, get some more, stash it, get some better loot, stash it, lose the loot when you hide your tent in a retarded spot and then do it all over again. OR you can just run round killing people, either way its really fun, especially with friends. Also there is some serious shit yourself moments, this is the most adrenaline pumping game I have ever played, my heart will be beating so fast because I know if I die then that's it, that's my "life" gone.
Check out some DayZ stories, they are the best way to realize the potential of this game.
But at the end of the day, its what you make it.
