I'm one of the neighbors of that radioactive wasteland. It's funny, looking at it in region view - no roads, but one or two random buildings. Also, Incineration Zone is in [TL] Ohana, and I posted a shot yesterday. Steppes of War going away was a pain, if only because I think that's where everyone in Incineration Zone went shopping. So on [TL] Destination my town is getting along nicely. 200k pop, $500k income. And started the Solar Farm Great Work. Now I can't seem to be able to send any of the items to build the Great Work to the Great Work. As anyone else been able to get there great work up and running?

the Titanic that is SimCity just never ends. Just after the offline hack, there's now another one that allows you to modify other users' towns (i can't call them cities, that's just too laughable), potentially screwing up people's hard work just for the hell of it.

Not to mention the fact that that's not exactly thanks to always online DRM. If EA had simply provided an online service in addition to an off-line game (see Diablo 2 multiplayer vs. singleplayer), the same thing could have been possible. Obviously, without always online, it would only "affect" cities that are online.

I think if you can get to microprocessor production, it's pretty lucrative. But I just stick with Alloys for now, or in some cities I've gone fully over to "c'mon, c'mon, play that damned concert I need the money!" use of the Expo center.
