E.g. Even though I'm in the UK, I can play on EU, it's just not going to be my native server. What I can't do is to make a region in the UK and expect a player that is playing in the EU join my region. We have to head into the same server, but I guess that's obvious. As long as it isn't 'locked' for interserver migration, I'm happy ^^

Maybe I'm mistaken but there was something similar for the beta where you first downloaded something and then opened the launcher to download the rest. It's exactly like that the game will launch now and try to finish the rest of the download.

If you change Server you have to start all over again.

He meant it as your city wont transfer over not that you change region then fuck you! Although your city can be taken over if it was public and you haven't played it for awhile.

On another point, did anyone play Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom on multiplayer? I really feel that SimCity is sort of a spiritual successor as it shares a lot of the fundamental features. With a lot of improvements of course!

It seems most people are complaining about the always online requirement and server issues. Still, the game is really great and the online component should add a lot to the experience. If you don't want to deal with the server issues you may want to wait to get this game, but don't skip it entirely because it is a really amazing game.

The reason of the small map size are due to processing power constraints, as the new glass box engine takes the simulation into a whole new level, with more focus on individual sim instead of the generic simulation model. However I was shocked to hear the logic simulation (the bottleneck) of the game runs only on a single core. You'd think they would've tried to take advantageous of all the multi core systems that we have now days, making a pure awesome game, realistic simulation on a proper scale. Nope, they went for the easy way out, simulation on 1, audio and rendering on another.... I bought the game online, only realized the game is released on the 8th for New Zealanders... Just play for the region instead of just 1 city at a time adds more complexity to the game anyways if you just don't constrain yourself to one city. ![]() NA servers finally got though without a wait time so guess what i do start a new region and pick this place to build lol

Physically, probably not. There's no way you're that fat and are healthy, plus even if you have no diseases apart from obesity, you're really doomed to get them sooner or later. Hypertension, Diabetes, Coronary Heart Disease, you name it. Psychologically, if he's fine with being obese and the problems it brings, he can certainly be healthy, but that is very rarely found in this society, because it punishes you hard for being obese.
