I actually think Stephan Bonnar did pretty good vs Jones (alot better than say.. Machida or Rampage) and then he was at a time when he was just reentering the UFC. And he got the size so I think that if he shapes up he might have a good chance to take out Jones. Other LHW fighters fought in an era where the game changed much more rapidly, other LHW fighters didn't fight the same level of competition Jones has fought, other LHW fighters weren't 24 years old when they did all of this. Anyone can lose, eventually, but this has not been seen before. The idea that Bonnar would stand a chance against Jones is absolutely absurd, you should really educate yourself first before posting. Main event was so boring, Evans didn't followed his game plan and just traded, could have been a nice fight ![]() This fight really would not have gone any better if he fought differently. When fighters say "I didn't follow the gameplan" you really have to look at the fight and that excuse critically. This is not a Melvin Guillard who goes for a takedown instead of standing up. Rashad's plan was to stand up and you quickly find out what you can and cannot do against a guy like Jones.

If he would face Hendo and get ko'd that would be an amazing moment for me but I can't really imagine it happening. Then again I couldn't imagine Machida losing either until he did.

Didnt you see Rashad being cocky as fuck during the fight tonight after getting hit? Yeah it always kills me when people say Jones is too cocky for a fight, especially this time when they would decide to cheer for a guy who dances in the octagon during fights over jones.

As if there is some approved amount of "cockiness" that Jones is exceeding...news flash: Fighting in an octagon in front of millions of people is not normal human behavior. Normal humans don't want to risk embarrassment in front of so many people. Stepping inside the octagon requires confidence to the point of extreme arrogance. If you make a statement like "that guy is too cocky" all you are doing is showing the fact that you could never possibly succeed in the octagon because you lack the mental makeup. TL;DR ALL fighters are cocky.

Indeed, it's one of the biggest cop-out's in all of MMA.

I enjoy reading these posts back to back. I'll be honest, the fact Bones is so unstoppable makes MMA boring to me... even if Shad gave him a good fight. I mean, did anyone really think Rashad was gona win lol.

![]() when the KO first happened, I wasn't quite sure if it was an early stoppage because Shaub recovered pretty fast after the ref stopped it, but it was definitely a good call by the ref

I'm really eager to hear the conversation Greg Jackson, Rashad and Winklejohn had after. Greg looked fucking awkward.
