I assume that this means lapped cars can only pass the leader once? A car that is recently lapped for a second time by the leader: he will still be in front of the rest of the lapped cars when they rejoin the back? or he gets to drive past the leader twice? Anyone have any insight into how F1 is going to play out this rule?

Anyone have any insight into how F1 is going to play out this rule? I think F1 had this rule already some years ago. They only unlap once so they don't hinder the restart at the front. It doesn't matter how often they are lapped.

I still believe if they give him the right car the old man can do it once more.

Has anyone worked out a good way to watch the races in the UK yet*? I refuse to buy Sky and pay for a sport that should be free to air, and I'm resigned to only watching 10 races a year if I have to, but I was hoping there might be a decent HD stream (maybe the official FOM stream with no commentary?) that I could watch with some radio commentary on in the background or something. If anyone has a good solution I'd love to hear it. (And I'd like to avoid adding to Skys viewing figures if possible). *for those unaware, the BBC sold their rights to broadcast F1 to Sky Sports, which is a subscription service costing maybe £400 a year, despite there being a clause in the FOM contract saying that F1 must always be available free-to-air globally. (Sky got around this by allowing the BBC to show 10 of the races per year for free, which for any real F1 fan is utterly pointless).

It looks like something out of the original Tron films where they lacked pixels! Until you see it moving though it's hard to say. One things for certain though that won't be the front wing they start the season with so at least that part will change, probably a few more "bolt on" parts will look a lot different come race time.

No one went on to rant about Caterham, who introduced their car as the first team. WITH the lego-nose. Also no one is talking about the FI. Ferrari gets all the flak because they are the most prestigeous, haha. Going to be interesting what the reactions to Adrian Newey's new RBR will be.

But in all fairness F1 cars just can't look "good" with FIA regulations and "winning".
