I hope that last part is sarcasm...because season high in turnovers but still all their players are positive in point differential reflects poorly on the Grizzlies..

Pretty sure that varies from stadium to stadium? :o
Do you have anything more info on the song?
I liked the sound in the end of 1st and 3rd Quarter of Milwaukee Bucks @ Sacramento Kings at 05.01.2012. So I will be very thankfull if anyone know what the sound played there.

With 2:20 left in the first quarter I heard Jay-Z - Dirt off Your Shoulder, that's the only song I could hear, the other things just standard stadium "pump-up" shouts (like DE-FENSE, etc).. at least that's what it sounded like, though it got kinda scrambled with the commentators shouting :\

because the jazz are actually positive with millsap/favors. unlike every other permutation of their bigs. playing your two best guys = good strategy iyam (jefferson sucks)
raw plus minus stats for jazz big men:
PM AJ DF EK PM 12.83 -1 2.2 0 AJ -1 -7.05 -4.9 n/a DF 2.2 -4.9 -6.13 -4.6 EK 0 n/a -4.6 -0.94
Jefferson is playing pretty well. Also remember the dangers of Plus Minus - Jefferson is logging heavy minutes against starters and is being guarded by the best post defenders on other teams. Millsap and Favors don't play the same role as he does, nor the same line ups.
The answer to the original question is simply because they have to. Between the PF and Center position that is 96 minutes to divvy up. 32 minutes per guy makes sense, except the only one getting it is Al because Enes Kanter is getting 14 minutes. He takes minutes away from Millsap/Favors.

i disagree, jefferson is v overrated and a negative player. there are plenty of other public stats that support the jefferson sucks contention. 50ts at 27usg for starters. lol. + usual terrible defence. he's not even rebounding well this year. never turns it over, but that's because he never passes. he's a negative player, the fact that his +- has always been hugely negative vs starters confirms it
jefferson's "role" is not valuable. the value of post scoring comes largely from the doubles that good post scorers draw, so you get efficient shot. ideally it balances out to a bit over 1ppp. (there are very few postup player who's posting up is valuable possession in a vacuum). the reason why jefferson is overrated is that he passes so infrequently, generally shooting before the double arrives. millsap's postup ppp is better than jefferson's anyway (1 vs .73 through today). jefferson also takes way too many unnecessary midrange shots
millsap is a better offensively in basically every way (better shooter, better passer, better rebounder, better ballhandler, not a ballstopper). favors is the jazz's only competent defender and finishes around the hoop better than jefferson (at approx same frequency). if favors started they'd be better than they are now after about 5 games (so favors could adjust)
There's a big difference between saying Al Jefferson sucks vs saying he isn't as good as basic stats suggest. He isn't an All-Star caliber player but he is better than Millsap.
The season is young, not really applicable to be making concrete statements about a guy's skill level. I mean come on, the Jazz have only played 7 games so what can you really tell us based on his numbers? Sure he's never been a big passer but +/- doesn't tell us that. All it tells us is that in a lineup with Al Jefferson vs a line up with a replaceable player on the bench the opposing team scores more or less. It doesn't tell us why that is so saying he's a negative on +/- isn't helping. If he averages 20/10/ on 50% FG% with 2 blocks a game do you think anyone is going to care that he has bad PM stats?
His role is to play the starting Center on the Utah Jazz. Whether he does it up to standards at the moment doesn't really matter: Enes Kanter isn't good enough yet, and Millsap nor Favors can guard Centers. Put them in the starting line up over Al Jefferson and Utah will be worse until they get better. The value of post scoring is partially because of double teams - but it also draws major value because legit post scorers gobble up easy buckets and cause defenses to shrink from the perimeter. Of course Raja Bell hasn't been contributing and Gordon Hayward is still a bit raw. You can't blame it all on him when his supporting cast isn't ready yet. The season is young but if you want to look at how good he was playing - look at the 2nd half of last season. AJ was doing pretty damn good.
And like I've said, Al Jefferson isn't some All-Star but he isn't some scrub either. I mean come on, you're comparing him posting up top post defenders vs Millsap who isn't even playing as many minutes as him, nor does the offense run through him. They don't play the same roles on the offense for the Jazz. Saying that Favors and Millsap are better than him is quite a big stretch after 3 weeks, especially since at the end of last season Al Jefferson was easily the best player on that team. Hell, Millsap could end up being better than him by the end of the season and it wouldn't surprise me - but not THIS early. They need to play a lot more games for it to be conclusive.
Jefferson's supposed to be a fantastic post player. Can't really tell much from his shot breakdown (compared to say Zach Randolph), except that he shoots a lot of 10-15 footers. And he's much worse at 10-15 footers and longer than Boozer.
I'm just angry because I drafted Millsap thinking he'd trend upward instead of getting less minutes this year. Anyone liking Shumpert? I'm not quite sold but it'd be nice if he can actually become a reliable starter since the Knicks have I'm pretty sure the worst backcourt in the league.

ace all the numbers i cited have been true for years, jefferson has always been an inefficient scorer with bad d. terrible combo. millsap defends poorly too but at least he's a good scorer. favors can guard centers, it's that jefferson has no hope of guarding pfs so favors gets most of his minutes there. wrt defending centers 1on1, favors is probably better at that too, but regardless help d is ~80% of defence and favors >>>>> jefferson in this area
either way getting the young guys touches > letting jefferson black hole it up forever even if the jazz are short term worse (better pick in the draft too). hayward/favors/kanter should be force fed minutes. kanter imo has really shown positive signs, i'd imagine as soon as it's obvious to the jazz that kanter/favors are legit, they'll be trading millsap/jefferson asap
jefferson stats offensive inefficiency: http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jeffeal01.html, hoopdata.com too defensive terribleness isn't really in one number, but +- derived metrics show it fairly clearly over a number of yrs + the fact that jefferson's teams have always been bad defensively: apm: basketballvalue.com rapm: stats-for-the-nba.appspot.com
I agree that AJ's inefficiency is a problem, but not based on PM. You can be a great defender (not saying AJ is) but on a bad team you can have terrible +/-. Look at the defensive rank for Garnett's Wolves in his prime years.
That said, I think they might as well trade AJ to a better team and get more pieces. If you're correct in saying Favors can guard Centers then they need to ramp up his minutes soon.
only your strawman thinks raw plusminus is the be all and end all. in the millsap/favors case it was illustrative and convenient
garnetts teams were average defensively, but his personal defensive stats have always been great (+- metrics, drtg, you name it). jefferson's teams have always been bad (not average, bad) and his personal stats point to him as a big reason why. not really comparable iyam
