First, its a shortened season, scoring is down, and both these teams are known for being defensively strong. The chance this game has a few runs that stretch higher than +7 is high, the chance they players can lock down and get that score back is also very high. Now for team dynamics, one thing is Bostons bench is notably weaker than last year, Brandon Bass being the only consistent contributor. Indiana on the other hand has increased their bench capacity, grabbing George Hill, and having Hansbrough come into a solid bench player, as well as picking up David West, a legitimate power forward starting for you. The game should be much closer than past years, especially because scoring overall is down 5 points. | ||
