I watched most of the game, some of it was poor shooting, but mostly just great defense and bad offense. They got like no open looks at all.

Missing your play caller, and main offensive weapon will do that to a club. If anything this blowout only tells us that Mike Conley is actually worth that paycheck he got last year. Also Rudy Gay isn't in game shape, its been almost a year since he was playing ball, where as the year before he was on a top showing with Team USA and was in superb shape. As in, he is slow out the gates for a reason, last season he burst out of the gates for the opposite reason.

Commentators were trying to pin it on the altitude but wow, don't know how one could excuse that play... I know in football (soccer for you handegg people), it makes a ton of difference. National teams like Bolivia rarely loses home games due to playing at an altitude of 4000m above sea level ;D On January 03 2012 08:49 cLutZ wrote: I watched most of the game, some of it was poor shooting, but mostly just great defense and bad offense. Even has patriotic of a Bulls fan I can be, the defense wasn't "below-30%-good", the Grizzlies were looking like they had 5x Josh Smith, only shooting jumpers, instead of going to the basket, even though you know he's fucking horrible at it.
