And yes, Jeremy Lin's game was sweet. Dwill tried to go 1on1 like 30 times but couldn't hit a basket. Instead he got burned on the defensive end over and over again. It's funny how the Knicks have had so many problems at the PG position even though they have 5 of them on their roster. You'd think at least one of them would be able to fill in the role. It's not as if they need superstar play out of that position.

Maybe. But as a Timberwolves fan, I love it. Our team hasn't had that kind of toughness since Kevin Garnett.

Or does he overrate rebounds like everyone says? I like David Berri. I think his number is a little whacked but that's regression analysis in a team sport for you. I've heard him speak and his basketball knowledge is real but he's sort of a statistician's statistician and I don't think that kind of analysis is all that great for a game like basketball. My best for instance is how much Berri loved loved Landry Fields last year and the year before that. I think he have him at like .222 WP48. But that's obviously not the case. Landry Fields is not twice as productive as an average shooting guard! Not to sound like an ignorant ass but he can't even dunk. They've also had Andrea Bargnani as the single worst active NBA player and he just isn't. I don't think it's a very predictive model. I'm sure WP has its uses though. I still look at it and I read his blog.

He just dropped 14 3's in a 60 point game in the chinese playoffs His shooting ability and free agent status are the only reasons the Lakers are interested in him and if we weren't so desperate for a decent shooter off the bench we wouldn't even consider him for all the baggage he comes with. I myself am of very mixed opinions about him, I know he can play but I also know he's incredibly inconsistent, arrogant, a pain in the butt to deal with in the locker room. Could he be just what the lakers need right now? absolutely, but could he also be more trouble than he's worth yes.

@Holcan, yeah I get that 60 points in China isn't too big, but making 14 3's is pretty decent either way.. I mean, at some point even the worst teams will put some pressure on a shooter Edit: That stomping ban for Love really fucks me over in fantasy.. oh man..

I'd understand of JR Smith was some kind of defensive acquisition but....whatever, Clips management can't be THIS dumb again. I have a hard time believing that the Clippers pursuing JRS is anything more than a bad rumor. The Clippers backcourt currently sits at CP3 Billups Williams Foye Bledsoe Adding JRS would be nothing more than a waste of money, unless they plan on trading some of their backcourt players before the trade deadline. Honestly after the Keynon Martin pick up the Clippers are solid at every position both starting and off the bench. They need to just leave their line up alone.

Which means no JR Smith. Only way I could see them doing anything would be trading Foye + Bledsoe for a bigger 2 guard defensively which still leaves JR Smith out of the picture. Of course grabbing Trevor Ariza from NOH won't happen because it makes too much sense.

It's not like they're use to winning and making positive franchise moves.
