I set up an event for tomorrow night, it's gonna be a bit early for our US players but I guess we can just call that a starting time. I guess it's fine with everyone to play on friday or sunday? Basically the starting rule set is as follows: -matchmaking if we're 5 or less(?) -full on killing eachother otherwise -balanced teams! -blind grenades are for big meanies -only 1 plasma cannon per game, when he dies the killer is allowed to use it when he resurrects. User was temp banned for this post. | ||

Also, is this best on the PC or consol? ^^ you gotta shoot and aim a lot so -> PC. keyboard and mouse >>>>>>>>>> any controller. the multiplayer is not that great (there will be a patch soon to add an additional ork bashing modus) but right now it only has 2 different settings. 8v8 annihilation (kill 41 ppl) 8v8 seize ground (control points give you points first team that gets 1000 points wins) Also there is literally no match making, most games are an easy win for you or the opponent. Weapons are fun, lots of different playstyles you can go for and the different chars feel different. | ||

I personally don't see much in the way of balance issues overall, even with the dreaded Plasma Cannon. I'd be tempted to agree it's very strong, but definitely not OP. That said, maybe having to stand still to charge would be a good way to balance it. Changing the "Quicker Charge Time" perk to a "Charge on the Move" perk would still provide a very nasty mobile weapon, without totally nerfing the thing into the ground. Oh, and nerf Grudge kill requirements... I'm about 25 or so away from the last armor unlock, and from what I've seen from most people just having 50+ seems to be a feat. I do love seeing that little Grudge icon pop up though, makes me tingle a little knowing someone is having a very bad day because of me. Tossed my info up in the TL community, feel free to toss me an invite if I'm in game. Hope to be around for the in house, sounds like good times. | ||

If we got a big streamer to stream the event it would be cool, but personally I'm mostly just looking forward to the games. | ||

r33k will begin his event at 12:30 pacific time... if there are more than 5 players (which is preferable) than he will be running in house play, otherwise TL will make a premade player team for matchmaking. @ 2:15, I will join and I encourage anyone else who becomes available to join us as well. Should r33k's party be disbanded at that time (this, I doubt) than I invite anyone willing to join myself for similar festivities! I happened to be completely unaware of the steam event he created, and did not discover it until i tried to make one of my own. Here is the link to r33k's party: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/tl-spacemarine/events/1352428079527677166 It might be useful to use more effective communications in game, so I am willing to use SKYPE as a replacement for the in game voice chat: My skype is xerrolavengerii good luck, and have fun! | ||
