i think MMORPG's are dangerous. I know it for a fact because my roommate used to be normal, until he started playing world of warcraft. Now, he's always at his computer, he doesn't go out, doesn't exercise, just eats and exists in azeroth. there's a program that lets him talk to his 'guildmates,' which makes matters worse. he feels as if he is getting social interaction, but talking to some people online is hardly a substitute for genuine human contact. and now, an MMORPG that takes it one step further by letting you find 'sex' online... this is definitely not healthy. | ||

I don't think this qualifies them as dangerous though. But I agree, its not always a good idea to get into an MMORPG. | ||
