2. The concept of skins.....in a brief explanation what would this be? I play LoL and I know what skins are in LoL, but in CS GO? !
skins are exactly like they are in league, purely cosmetic. in fact, they dont even change effects like many skins in league would.
It's not purely cosmetic though, it's a way to assert your dominance over others by showing that you have an absurd amount of disposable income, which inherently makes you better than other people.
Such a confidence boost having nice guns too! and that 3 spam since I got my M9 bayonet huehue
I'll admit that the primary reason I acquired a bayonet was the pull-out animation

A compelling insight into the intersection between hegemonic masculinity and capitalism in the digital age.

I've never bought a skin (well okay I bought a $.03 one when I needed 1 more to trade up back in the old days where they had to be from the same set lol) but I've sold a ton. Probably made about ~$500 selling skins. No knives though Of course a shit ton of that money goes back into keys, some went towards buying games I'll never play on Steam ^-^
Yeah, zero chance that you didn't lose a massive amount of money with buying keys and selling the skins in them.
Buying skins or keys is throwing money out of the window. Only spend what you can afford to spend. Do not get sucked into thinking that "if I just buy twenty keys, maybe there's a knife in there and then it's all worth it". You can not break even ever. Not even close.

I'm definitely at a profit through trading and opening cases Maybe $100 past what I've put in. I went on a couple lucky runs where I unboxed like 4-5 $20 stattrak guns in a row haha.
Do pro players use SMGs anymore? Everyone is going armor/pistol when they lose pistol round. It feels like 1.6 again where everyone just uses rifles or pistols and stopped using the MP5.

There isn't much point in buying an SMG when you can use the Cz.

The cz is way too strong to justify buying smgs. Basicly, every team is buying almost every round (with cz), unless they are absolutely money-fucked and force to hard-eco. This means that buying smgs will often be your death, because you will be going against cz + armor.
However I've seen get_right buy a P90 from time to time, but thats about it. Until Valve nerf the cz more than that, no reason to use smgs.

well maybe you would have some decent skins if you don't spend that much on your alcohol cabinet

What a lovely way to put it :D I like that.
Aw thanks! Glad to know those words are more than meaningless jargon for someone other than me :D
<3 you Aike! Saw this on my lunch break at work and it made my day :D

I think the CZ needs to be 12/6 or 8/8 IMO. Theres not much else you can do to it without nerfing it into oblivion, making it deagle price would destroy it, Nerfing its accuracy / range more? I dont think valve will or should.
Its funny how the gun they added specifically to CSGO has caused so many problems.
got an interesting problems for you guys. Everytime i join an online server i crash right after i connect without any error back to my desktop, however i am able to open console and create a local server and play with bots. i reinstalled, verified, i have yet to put my cfg back in. also another thing that started about a month ago. i get this random lag i guess you can call it thats lowers my ingame sensitivity for a couple of seconds but i use raw input so it cant be fps lag right?

Nah I don't think so. The clip size will do nothing at the pro level. If you miss your 8 first bullets you are dead anyway.
The only significant changes they could make would be to make it cost something like 1000$ to 1200$ (if you think about it, most smgs are significantly worse than the cz for more than that prize). This would make buying the cz + armor every round impossible. It would actually be a gamble again, rather than something automatic.
The change I like more tho is to straight up nerf its damage, especially the one shot headshot which is bullshit (if you think about it, in close quarter, say holding an angle close, you are better off with a cz rather than an m4). That ridiculous damage along with the high fire rate is the reason why pro uses it. Nerfing the clip size would do nothing as you are supposed to hit the first bullets.
Clip size would do alot IMO, i see plenty of pros missing shots and using almost the entire 24 bullets in a round. It wouldn't do a whole lot but it would certainly have an effect, there are many situations in which pros just dont hit their first few shots. Long range potshots or "strafe battles" where people are constantly ducking in and out reloading come to mind. These situations arise frequently.
Making it 1k or 1.2k would nerf it into oblivion like i said, nobody would EVER buy it at that price over an SMG/nova.
I think removing the 1 shot HS would be good though. The damage is pretty silly on that considering M4's dont even do it lol.
I think a combination of both those things would be perfect tbh, but what do i know.
