Anyways, I have a hard time believing that your odds for a reasonable game is 1 in 5; you are setting your standards way too high for a "reasonable" game. Unless you live in Russia. In which case my condolences.I am nova I and solo queing is really depressing. once out of 5-6 matches I end up with team mates that -communicate -are familiar with the concept of eco -do not start begging to get kicked after 2 lost rounds/start screaming at the top of their lungs (I am hesitant to block them because there is a chance they'll calm down and have actual useful things to say) -is friendly/forgiving for noob mistakes, it is nova I after all. The other times everyone just spreads out on the map DM style and starts flaming in to the third round and when we eventually win a round everyone buys AWP without armor or anything even though they are clueless with it and just end up handing them out to the opposition(a reason I never buy awp is that I am aware how useless I would be with it). Even better, I had a match where all four of my teammates were silent for the entire game and wouldn't react to anything I asked via mic or typing, but when the final score screen showed up all of them started wailing and the namecalling... I try to organise sessions with friends but with jobs and families its really hard and its a shitty feeling when I get around to playing CS that the team experience is so bad. I have never left a competitive match or initiated a kick vote because I don't want to ruin the game for others and myself with a 5v4. Does anyone have a surefire way to mentally overcoming the drag that this causes? Cheers. -communicate: Way too high standards lol. Be happy if they don't communicate; at least they aren't distracting you, clogging your audio with rubbish, or giving bad information. Bad information is much much worse than no information always. You can infer a lot from watching your team, listening, and radar. It's not optimal, but it is not what is holding you back from improving or gaining rank either. As long as you yourself give short and precise information when it is needed, your chance of winning goes up anyways. -are familiar with the concept of eco: Some AKs don't even eco properly. It's not even worth complaining about. -do not start begging to get kicked after 2 lost rounds/start screaming at the top of their lungs (I am hesitant to block them because there is a chance they'll calm down and have actual useful things to say): bet you wish they didn't communicate now, eh? Seriously though block them and tell them they are muted. You'll probably be less depressed that way. -is friendly/forgiving for noob mistakes, it is nova I after all- why do you need their friendliness or forgiveness. They are all bound to be around the same rank as you though you might get the odd Legendary Eagle or whatever. Not that it matters. CS GO is inherently a game where mistakes are forced to happen to either side. Just follow the above advice and carry on. Ultimately, you set your expectations way too high, there shouldn't be any problems to improve or advance to AK by soloing. What could help is that whenever you do find people on your team you do like, add them to your friends list, and if they are playing cs go, ask them to play together.

They're going to be toxic, arguing with them will fuck up YOUR game, and you're only going to performance worse as a result. Talk to the people who are willing to talk, and hope to god the toxic player just focuses on playing the game instead of trying to TK/quit the game. I know it probably is hard if you just keep talking and nothing works out, but I think unless you take initiative, most people won't.I am nova I and solo queing is really depressing. once out of 5-6 matches I end up with team mates that -communicate -are familiar with the concept of eco -do not start begging to get kicked after 2 lost rounds/start screaming at the top of their lungs (I am hesitant to block them because there is a chance they'll calm down and have actual useful things to say) -is friendly/forgiving for noob mistakes, it is nova I after all. If the games keep staying toxic though, honestly it might be best for you to just hold off on the competitive unless you have a stack of friends you're willing to play/put up with. edit: lol 8k

His rank: MG2... but he had 835 hours played in CSGO... wtf? You can leave the game open, afk on special servers than even give achievs, or just start hacking late. Game time isn't an indicator of legitness :D (seen a video of a 2K+ hours guy hacking, seen a guy aim bot on an aim map with 550+..)
