Or at all even once the match is over? Doesn't let me scroll through the scoreboard. You can disable all voice chat but I don't think there's a way to solely disable hearing the opposite team. I think your best bet would be to bind a key to disable all voice chat and just press it when the game ends. Here are three possible binds that I threw together and they do the same thing. I guess the first is best because of it's simplicity but I don't know how to code. 1) bindtoggle kp_pgdn voice_enable 2) bind "kp_downarrow" "incrementvar voice_enable 0 1 1" 3) alias voicetoggle "voiceon"

Basically it teaches you where to aim your crosshair at all times and will greatly help with faster reaction.

I think some of it could be that I stop being so calm and focused, another could be that I haven't fully committed shooting into my muscle memory. In a match I'm focused on more than just shooting right. I guess I need to DM more? In the words of get_right, yes. Always DM, never not DM.

Saw that video few weeks ago, it really helped me. On a side note: anybody have any tips on how to control AK better? I just seem to suck immensely with it. Tried watching the adren video and it helped a bit, but i can't seem to get it right.

The irony is that if someone would get kicked from NiP it would probably be xizt because friberg and fiff are very good friends (same for forest and get_right) and the four of them live either at the gaming house or near. Only Xizt does not. Plus, its not like his performance at the final was good either, and Fiff had a very good tournament apart from that serie.

I pretty much force myself to believe that its just the people with terrible computers who cant really run the game that have those ranks. I'm ranked between MG2 and MGE and I don't get this attitude. First of all, CS is a leisure activity for most people, and because they have other priorities they may not even care to get better at CS, they just want to relax and shoot stuff for an hour before going to bed. Then, skill groups are always a relative measurement and not absolute – if everyone would be as good as a MG1, someone ranked MG1 right now would be silver then because the competition is much fiercer. Also, if the minimum level of play would be that high, it would also be toxic for the community in the long run because most people trying out the game would be discouraged to play after getting demolished every time. That's what happend/happens to/at Quake, and see how popular that is right now. No Karate club is gaining members by smashing the face of everyone that happens to walk through their door. The vast majority of casual players help in growing the game, by buying keys, watching tournaments and just by playing a little and raising the total numbers. Everyone has his role, sponsors don't care what skill groups viewers/players are in, and if a Silver player buys a key that not only raises price pools for the high end of the scene, it's also money for valve that encourages them to further work and improve the game.

After watching the latest ESL tournament, buying a key has never felt so amazing. I also want to improve my game, but right now I don't have that much time or motivation to play Competitive.

Also, just lost CT side on Train 7 - 8, and ended up winning T side to get promoted to Gold Nova 2, such a good feeling! Slowly climbing the ranks.

What helped me get better at it (at least being able to spray a wall with a fairly concentrated spread) was to do it over and over. Go offline vs no bots sv_cheats 1 sv_showimpacts 1 sv_infiniteammo 2 give weapon_ak47 Study the spray pattern and work on going opposite of it. You must do it over and over and over. I got more comfortable with it after emptying approx 120 magazines of AK ammo (30 AKs but was probably more).
