The AK just feels so much better in every way, also the glock does too. the glock is a big advantage, but the AK's advantage is really overblown. m4a4 has faster movespeed and shoots slightly faster, and once you become experienced enough to consistently dink on your first bullets, it literally becomes just as deadly as an AK. CT side is definitely tough on dust2 for valve pugs, in general i'd recommend fiveseven + HE opener on pistol rounds, and make sure you buy a p250 (or deagle/shotgun if you're rich) for basically all eco rounds because the p2k is a very shitty gun when facing kevlar

I do really well statistically (both in terms of individual stats and how my team is doing) when I try to do the whole Get_Right thing on T-side, and lurk around to cut off rotations and create backstabbing/flanking opportunities. In other situations, I'm so much worse. ![]() The maps fuck up aggressive CT play imho. In a way you get punished way more for shortcutting than you did in 1.6 at least thats my gripe. Also certain forward spots are just really pain to control as CT, and that makes CT play overly defensive in CS GO, sure that's what happened in pro play most of the time in 1.6 but there were a lot of aggresive CT positions. You feel at total mercy of T as CT on Ramp @ Nuke (the nerfed the long corridor to radio, you dont have long vision), Short @ D2 (on close), you can get easily sniped from lower tunnel, and banana on inferno, which is more narrow and have deadly pillars. It seems like a big gamble to cover those spots alone, even when you are "superior" player. But i didn't really took my time to play truly competetively in CS GO, however those things struck me pretty early since i played CS GO. What's funny is 2/3 of those spots i used to cover for like 6-7 years in 1.6, valve how could you do this to me.

Was very crowded all day long with good players, and every now and then Shoxie and/or Scream would come in and rape faces. :D

Back in 1.6 everyone was basically hiding behind fakes, and you couldn't spectate someone's profile on steam from game. I remember once i was racing with TaZ (from ESC) in 2004 or 2005 on DM server, only because i knew his fake (Sauron). Almost made it, everyone else was like 100 frags below us ;D I kinda miss the secrecy ;D When f0rest or anyone join the server everyone knows. And actually i played with him lately, NiP plays on "decent" aim server or how its called.

In scrims, dust2 is heavily T favored since they control the mid. And if you're facing a team with three snipers, I don't know what the fuck you are doing to not be able to win.

People with 5 hour old account doing 180 headshots and droppping 50 frags is getting old. Had some guy on my team download wallhack in the middle of the game... http://blog.counter-strike.net/index.php/overwatch/ Basically, the way the system works is pretty flawless from what I could see. Super obvious cheaters will get banned pretty much 100%. And now, if you even suspect a person of cheating, simply report them. This way, if other people in other matches have the same hunch as you and report him as well, his gameplay will be up for review...and when you review a case, if you know what to look for in a cheater, it's relatively easy to tell if a person is cheating or not. So...IMO, as long as enough members in the community have the patience to spend 10-20 minutes during their CS:GO session to review cases, this system will eliminate most cheaters, and eliminate the threat of people cheating. Before...you could spend 15$ on the game, and pretty much get away with it for at least a few months if not forever, seeing as how previous methods by Valve to shutdown cheaters proved to be avoidable. This method...should be incredibly effective at eliminating each and every obvious waller/aimbotter, and will most likely catch at least 90% of the more..."fair" cheaters (cheaters who at least give the opponent a chance). Really, the only negative discussion that can be made about this, which I don't agree with but it is nevertheless prevalent, is that Valve is "using" the community to do "their" work. However, the reality is, while they could easily pay people sit all day and stare at footage, they would simply be spending resources fighting a never-ending battle, and to be honest, they have already made the game incredibly affordable (7$ sale frequently/15$ full price), so you really can't complain that they are taking advantage of the community. Plus, idk about you, but as a person who cannot stand cheaters, I love the feeling of being able to witness a person cheating, and know that I finally have the direct ability to ban said person. And unlike League of Legends terrible verison of this type of crowd-sourcing, this system is targeting ONLY cheaters(as well as intentional grievers...but they might as well be in the same boat). League of legends system is silly because their philosophy of their community is incredibly warped...also their system pretty much allows a person to get banned for so many reasons that have nothing to do with gameplay. TL;DR Obvious cheaters on new accounts will find themselves wasting 7$-15$, people who think about cheating will re-think knowing this system will most likely catch them, and even the sneakiest of cheaters will most likely not get through this system as the people selected to review these cases have the ability to easily spot them out fairly quickly.
