I tuned in, saw 3 guys exploding off the same grenade, followed by a complete massacre. Still fun.

Their scrims generally are a massacre. It's fun to watch though and listen to how they communicate and point out things to change or try.

I actually played with a 1" 180 for a while, because I mistakenly thought everyone did that with fancy mice. I halved my sensitivity recently and my headshot ratio improved a lot, but I don't think I'd gain much above that. I prefer to use wrist stabilisation so the numbers don't compare to someone who plays with their whole arm.

A general technical point for using higher sensitivities: Always increase dpi rather than game sensitivity. You get more consistent single-pixel movements if the mouse is reporting several dots per screen pixel, and for that you ideally want at least 10000 dots for a 180.

My 180 is at about 3 inches or so, I find that works best.
Who is this guy? ^

I lowered my 180 to about 9.55" I still feel like I can aim and I also have the speed needed to turn away from flashes. Now to play more and get better while getting used to this.

If you guys wanna play with me add me Tennet77 =D

Yeah, we were practicing privately after awhile. ^^ Sorry about that! I'll open it up from time to time though, mostly aim maps/fun shit like de_rats, etc.

Anyone know where to get CS:Go demos? Preferably of NiP.

Tried hltv. But all they have are cs1.6 stuff.

There's no HLTV/SourceTV for CSGO yet, and even POV demos are bugged because of no HUD.

What's a good general sensitivity to work with? I'm more used to high sensitivities, but people keep telling me to have lower ones so that I can aim better but I don't have a general idea of what low sensitivities to work with, I'm hoping I can find one and learn how to work with it until I can find a final sensitivity that's not too fast or slow for me.

Whatever your comfortable with. There is not universally correct sensitivity. If you like it up higher then use it up higher. I have 1920x1080 res and only 800 dpi on my mouse with the ingame at like almost minimum.

To get deeper in the game I'd suggest starting with esea pugs. You don't need a team, wide variety of skill levels, and it's a 5v5 format. The next step would be scrimmaging against teams. I suggest making your own team with your friends, and just work out default strats for each map and build from there. If you don't have any friends that are interested it's going to be hard to get in and you might have to just meet people in pugs and see if they need a backup to get you some scrim experience. Once you have a team join the open league and get some league experience.

edit: just noticed you're from germany, might be worth checking out a lan center to try to meet people depending on where you are

Join ESEA or ESL (ESL since you're in Germany) and play a lot of pugs

How do i activate this?
And what are the benefits or disadvantages if any?
Is this the same as turning off acceleration? Or just achieving 1:1 movement ratio by doing 6/11 in Windows and turning off Accel in game?

Raw input gives the same results as setting 6/11 and no acceleration in Windows, I believe. It's most useful if you don't want to do that for whatever reason.
