Under 23 is defined as 'Born on or after 1st January 1989'. There can be only 18 men in an Olympic team, with 2 goalkeepers. You can have a maximum of three over-age players. Stuart Pearce will not put players from the Euro 2012 squad in this team. Unfortunately, I don't know how Capello will pick his 23-man squad for Euro 2012... so picking the young up-and-coming players for this GB team will be difficult. In saying that however, since they aren't in Euro 2012, Ramsey and Bale are shoe-ins for the team. I'd be shocked if they weren't named into the squad. I'm guessing Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jonjo Shelvey and Connor Wickham are players who won't make the cut to make England's Euro squad, but are young enough to be in Team GB. Phil Jones, Kyle Walker, Jack Rodwell, Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck are probably going to be in Capello's squad, so I'm counting them out for now. Besides that, I'm not really sure of the talent of young players outside of England. Oh, and I'd probably put Darren Fletcher as an over-23 player. ... and I know I totally didn't answer your question, but I wanted to just give out some thoughts on Team GB.

The only other players I can think of right now that could fit in are; Martin Kelly (RB - Liverpool), Joe Flanagan (RB - Liverpool) & Josh McEachran (CM - Chelsea/Swansea). I have a feeling Henderson will get in the Euro's Squad.

The LA Galaxy announced today that the club has signed forward Edson Buddle on a free transfer. One of the top goal scorers in Galaxy and MLS history, Buddle spent the past year playing with FC Ingolstadt of the German 2. Bundesliga after leaving the Galaxy in January 2011. A member of the U.S. National Team at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, Buddle scored 42 goals in 87 regular season games during his first stint with the Galaxy from 2007-2010, finishing third in MLS in scoring in 2008 and second in the League in 2010 when he finished the season with a career-high 17 goals. Per club and league policy, terms of the contract, which will be finalized when the club receives his International Transfer Certificate, were not disclosed. “I am thrilled to be able to return to MLS and a club that has meant so much to me in my career,” Buddle said. “When I left for Germany last winter, I said that I hoped to be able to one day return to the Galaxy and help lead the club to an MLS Cup championship. That day is today and I look forward to the challenges that now lie ahead.” Source

Not if you keep hoovering up all the big clubs rejects like Alex they are rejects for a reason. Lets have a bit of fun; you tell me what the best transfer this season has been it can be from the January or summer window., and I will write why or why not I agree with you. I will be judging based on bang for your buck. And it has to be from England I just don't know enough about other leagues to write about them yet. I'll start being a Newcastle fan there is only one man DEMBA BA!!! terrific performer 15 goals already and now he has a national team mate as his strike partner in Papiss Demba Cisse we are 5th in the table and if you look at this weekends fixtures there is a good chance we will go level in points with Chelsea this weekend. In terms of value we picked him up on a free and although various fees meant that it went up to about £4m pounds. Your turn, be descriptive!

Too bad Fletcher won't be playing anytime soon though, considering his stomach disease.
