Story, adventure, atmosphere etc. are all amazing thanks to ragnar tornquist making it feel like dreamfall/the longest journey.

Controls, animations, UI, combat and skill system are all horribly designed and implemented.

This game needs an extra 6months - 1year development time at least, but EA are rushing it out the door and will kill it with poor inital perception and player sentiment - so frustrating!

Really sad, I wanted this game to do well but even as much as i like the former aspects over the latter I have to be realistic... people wont buy this or play it for very long at all..

Gonna flop harder than AoC imo ;_;

I dont understand why they would build in so many solo instances, which are like 3 minutes short and every time you have to reload the map costing you another minute. This is the most frustrating thing about the game if youre playing with friends.
The graphics look okayish, a bit outdated but good enough for an mmo, but they really overdid it with the audio. 16gb game which i wouldnt bother to install on a ssd because there are just so many audiofiles for every single non relevant daily quest npc...
Dont like the travel system either :|

Ah come on, the music in this game is stellar and its a big part of the setting/mood..if you're gonna rant on something, please let it be something else than the size of the installation.

Like gameplay, clunky combat and whatnot..

I have to agree here with most guys. The setting is great but what will kill this game is the bad graphic and the combatsystem. To me it feels like FunCom blew all their money on AoC and now they had to do Secret World with cheap grahics and hotkey based combat most people are tired of after several years of WoW

I played a few of the beta weekends and found it fun, but forgettable. I'm honestly looking forward to GW2 more now that I have played TSW.

It's a shame... the game seemed to have some amazing potential.

I'm in playing and having a blast. I find that combat system to be improved since I last played a month ago. It's a real shame that this game is so under the radar. It's got a spirit to it that most modern games lack.

This is starting to piss me off. I keep getting "out of memory" error and crashing.

I am running 64 bit windows with 16GB of ram. How the fuck am I running out of memory? I also have a 7800 video card...so I know it isn't that either. Anyone have a fix for this?

Game deserves more hype as a great single player RPG. I don't even care about the MMO aspect yet. It's a fantastic successor to Vampire: Bloodlines. Fantastic writing.

This is a good in-game preview. A bit spoilery, but conveys much of what this game is about, spiritually, creatively.

Archeage is the only big-budget mmorpg that looks somewhat promising to me currently.

This shouldn't have been an MMO. That aspect of the game is just going to drag it down into obscurity which is a shame given how much fantastic content it has.
