It looks really fun, and I won't be ruined by the nostalgia too much because i only watched Portal 1, never played. Steam is fine now. A few years ago it was a major pain in the rear for a multitude of reasons, but they really got their act together, and now I actually prefer buying over Steam to getting hard copies. Oh, and please people, try your best to disregard nostalgia.......it's so annoying, especially as many of the humourous quirks of, for example, GLADOS, are no longer original/fresh, and so you somehow expect them to completely raise the bar and blow your mind again. Calm down, and look at it more objectively, especially if you're not even done with the game.

Played it for 7 hours straight and must say I was pleasantly surprised by the length of the game and how the game always kept me on my toes. Lots and lots of character development and surprises! Enjoy! Yeah, I enjoyed it a lot more than the first game, but there's no advanced chambers? Kinda sucky....

Anyway, so far it's been really fun. I'm still looking for someone competent to run through co-op with (for great streaming!)

I guess there is only so much gameplay you can fit into the storyline before stuff becomes tedious and repetitive.

I wouldn't be surprised if Stephen Merchant helped with the writing.
