They fixed that issue months ago.

Mount and blade's single player is amazing especially with all the mods. Only 4 dollars atm great deal.

Picked up Hotline Miami for just over $2 on Steam and had a blast. Fast paced action with lots of challenge if you want to 100% it. The soundtrack is great too!

AOE 3 for 8 euros seems like a nice deal.

Just asking cause I also bought Transistor based off reviews and how amazing Bastion was.

WE NEED A NIDHOGG THREAD, THIS GAME IS GOSU!!!
|
I mean, i would love to have people to play with for Nidhogg, but the game requires so much precision (ala Smash), playing online just isn't as enjoyable. Imo of course.

But the graphics look terrible compared to Crysis 3 D:

Nidhogg has to be played in local, online loses the thrill and the fun. and how can the spectators scream 'take that dick' if you're playing online?
For me this winter sale started quite slowly, but lately i've been buying a few things: Brothers Euro truck simulator Mount your friends Paper, please Rogue legacy Super meat boy Tomb raider
I already had a chance to finish Papers, please and Rogue legacy for free at a friend's, but the developers deserve the money, even if so little, at least I did my part. Super meat boy, instead... I played the first map (woods, I think?) and it didn't really strike well on me. It feels frustrating more than rewarding. I'll play it a bit more, will see.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Banner Saga, Transistor and Dishonored. They're really cheap as of right now, not sure if I should be buying games I know for certain I won't have time to play.
First world problems eh.
Edit: oh and thoughts on games like Deux Ex or the Thief series?

gog.com has some really good deals and the best part about all that stuff is that it's DRM FREE, god i love gog.com
E: I think I paid like €40 + €20 + €20 for Age of Empires 3 and its two expansions and it's easily the best game I've ever spent money on. There is still an active online community for that game so it's totally worth buying and playing for like €8. For the record some SC2 Grandmaster got the game and started playing; he didn't even do that well. Game is deep and the metagame is actually still moving.

Dishonored its amazing, reminds you of the old Thief games way more than the new Thief (which is decent, at best)
Deus Ex, all games (besides Invisible war) are godlike imo

what do you guys think of Invisible inc? Looks X-com ish with stealth-mechanics or smt. I loved Mark of the Ninja from Klei but this is only early access for €11..Worth?

Shovel Knight still on sale for a couple more hours... if you haven't gotten it yet, get it now
