Digital version now appears to be $25 anyway - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EDJLXHI/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER Game Downloads are only available to US customers. FUUUUUUUU I'm done. Game has mixed reviews anyway. I got tons of other stuff to play. DVD version doesn't qualify for free shipping if its under $35. You can just put down a random hotel in America as your billing address and you can purchase it. I did it for my Bioshock Infinite Amazon purchase.

Which still leaves you with the "credit card only" problem. This discussion comes up every single time amazon stuff gets mentioned. It is kind of weird to me to have those "US only" sales. Amazon is a global company. Do they not like money? Why not take money from people who are not in the US? Is their money worse? In my opinion, this whole region locked stuff is completely antiquated in the days of the internet, and it is incredibly silly when you can deliver products worldwide with absolutely no additional effort since they are digital and send via the internet to then artificially try to segregrate that into different areas and countries. If someone has money and wants to buy your stuff, why does it matter where they are?

Can think of a few things but I am not a lawyer. - Software licensing laws may differ between countries. - Content (mature content, blood, language, etc) have different laws in different countries - IP (intellectual property) recognition and IP laws possibly including conflicting trademarks / logos / narrative

It was $1 so I decided there was no harm, and I've never played a BF series game before, but I completely suck at it since I'm used to CS-style FPS. That's the last game of the Battlefield series I really enjoyed, 1$ is a good. I can recommend that game

I am a huge fan of HoMM3 (same as BW, my lifelong games pretty much), playing it loosely on and off since release. I never bothered to check all the later stuff couse of disaster that 4 was. So is 6 worth trying? Or should I just stick to the legend that 3 is? I can only advise fanatics like you to stay with the game you like because no matter how good a game is, you'll always end up disappointed. That being said, HoMM6 was OK, not as good as the fifth installment which is in my opinion, the most interesting one.

HoMM 6 has been patched and expansion'd but still comes no where near HoMM 5, the shades of darkness didn't really fix as much as the two exps for 5. If you really enjoy the genre I guess the price ain't too bad but otherwise I'd probably look into the fifth one if you haven't yet.

I didn't play HoMM6 myself but a good friend of mine said it is very bad compared to HoMM5 (he likes 5 and 3). Another one said the campaign was quite ok'ish but nothing great. I personally like 5 and 3 though imho 3 is better than 5 in almost every aspect. So if you havn't played 5 I would recommend it when it is on sale but don't expect something superior to 3.

You could think of it this way: Fan < Fanboy < Fanatic That doesn't quite cover it, but it might help you understand. ![]()

As for me being fanatic, I don't mind being dissapointed, it's just that I hit that special gaming black hole and I just need something new. Thanks for your opinions guys!
