Deadly Premonition is now available on Steam one of my personal favorite games of maybe all time but def the one most memorable game you can play.

I made a Thread back when it was released for PS3 earlier this year if someone is interested. My Thread . It's also 10% off on Steam right now.

Edit: It seems to be quite buggy and not exactly a good port right now. I do not know how good the PC version is i only know the game ittself is great or was when i played it on console.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is on sale for 4.99 on the steam halloween deal (its sequel, Machine for Pigs is 13.99 but I'm probably not going to get it without playing the first one).
Also, fallout 3 is on sale for 4.99.

Are these worth getting and playing?

Enjoying Miasmata and Don't Starve. Would recommend. F.E.A.R pack is a good deal too if you like FPS.

Awesome i was looking for a coop game with a friend and we really wanted to play magicka. Told him to wait for the halloween steam sale before buying it, and as it turns out we get a free magicka week end+ a -75% discount.

They really ruined superfrog's music in the remake though... it just sounds so bland and generic like a free iOS game.

KF is awesome with good players that know what theyre doing. Even playing alone this zombie massacre has some RPG elements (You lvl up perks that give you bonuses for different weapon type you are using. they take quite a bit of time to lvl up)
One downside is that this game is a one big dlc advertisment... Around 20 weapons are dlc only and only 4 or so character models are available without dlc..

They're not required at all. You can play freely without them also if some1 buys dlc weapon, drops it, you can still use it.

how is the arkham asylum PC port? I can't imagine the controls being fluid at all

As I've heard it, the ports of both Arkham games are superior to Console. Optimized graphic settings, proper Mouse/Keyboard support (along with controller), plus additional graphic additions that weren't available to console.

Only relevant if your PC can handle everything cranked up, of course.
