I just attribute it to the amount of people trying to buy things at the same time. It seems to overload steams systems. Wait a while and try again is my answer

When I wanted to buy a game on sunday, steam had an issue with my credit card and didn't accept it for whatever reason. I tried it throughout the day and it didn't work. I already bought Deus Ex, Total War: Shogun 2 and Mark of the Ninja today without a problem. I didn't change a thing so I don't have a glue why it works now and didn't work on sunday. DA Nexus, there are tons of good mods to be found there: http://dragonage.nexusmods.com/ , though some of the mod descriptions might spoil the game fyi. I had about 44 or so from there (mostly cosmetic/textures, some equip, some combat), and that was a few years ago. Also, people who want to go play skyrim should just get it. At $0.35/hr that's a great deal (assuming only 100hrs of playtime).

This a pretty good selection of DAO mods: http://www.pcgamer.com/2010/11/18/18-essential-dragon-age-mods/ There are a ton more good mods to find though, and if it's your first playrthrough you might just wanna go with no mods first.

The GMG sale also includes FFVII PC, MK9, and Endless Space Gold, among others. All of which activate on steam after purchase so you can still get your steam achievements, cards, and whatnot for playing. That said, so far this sale I have only bought Mark of the Ninja (amazing stealth game and easily worth $3.75) and Dishonored ($10.19) from Steam itself. That deal on Civ5:BNW is killer though, especially for how much that changes the base Civ 5 experience.

If you told me 5 years ago that I could be buying nearly 5 full games for less then 40 bucks I'd tell you to fuck off. Now I'd be hugging you with joy.

Get the Civ V Gold deal on steam and then upgrade it with BNW for cheap. The GMG sale also includes FFVII PC, MK9, and Endless Space Gold, among others. Where do you see it's 30% off, GMG says nothing about it being on sale.
