If you enjoyed DMC, you'll enjoy Vergil's Downfall. There are a few letdowns, for example it's quite short (which I think is okay considering its price), there are almost no variations in environment and one mission is entirely recycled. The story is really crappy and the cutscenes are last-minute poorly done comic sequences. But Vergil plays refreshingly different from Dante, there are plenty new attacks and combos; you can use all of the techniques he used in the main game and more. I would go as far as saying that I enjoy playing him more than Dante. So I'd say for the gameplay alone it's worth it if you had fun with the original.

I think the delay in Vergil's attacks destroy the whole flow of the game. If you'd compare Dante's gameplay to Vergil's it's day and night.

Unfortunately a little short, but hey. Can't get everything. NG+ makes that a lot better. Played predator mode the first time through, full stealth mode the second.

EA has the exclusive rights for Germany because of their terrible FIFA Manager 2013. Thx to EA, like always.
