It's 3$ because its been out for a long time, shitloads of people bought it already, shitloads more will buy it for this price, its a small developer, they have a sequel coming out soon.
Has nothing to do with quality or difficulty of the game. Tons of people love it. That being said, I would hate it. Not my kinda game.

I'd really like to get AS but I feel like my PC wouldn't be able to handle it well. I barely pass the minimum requirements so I guess I'll let it slip

Today I got AC2 and torchlight. During this sale I already bought Borderlands and just cause 2. This sale is going to end up costing me like 30-40 bucks I bet, but I should have a ton of fun games to play.

Anyone else picked up Recrettear? I am having surprising amounts of fun with it and the wife is also enjoying it.
Thinking of picking up Tropico and Torchlight today but I'm not sure. Both have mixed reviews. It's not like it's any money to talk of but still, it's principle! 
I'm hoping for better games tomorrow!

Torchlight is very good, especially for 3 dollars or whatever. I got it for 5 last year, and it was well worth it. Think diablo, but much faster paced, easier and more fluid to play (really only need your mouse).
the graphics are nice, the style / colors really fit. Unfortunately, the "main game" is fairly short, and the extra stuff is highly repetitive... though it is still fun to run around shooting 30-100k damage explosive shots on everything.

Torchlight is a Diablo copycat game done right. The problem is that without the multiplayer portion, I don't have the motivation to play for more gear etc.
But for those who got no problem with a single player slash and hack, go get Torchlight.

Bought Transformers and Assassins Creed pack. £20 for the lot, seems like a good deal and should provide more fun than equivalent amount of beer/spirits/wine. 1 hour till next lot of sales  Not much on my "wishlist" though.
Torchlight is a nice dungeon crawler but I wouldn't recommend it unless you like the genre. I enjoyed D2 but Torchlight didn't last more than 20 hours for me.

I've spent longer than that just farming random portals/dungeons haha.

Torchlight is definitely worth the 3-4 dollars. Bought it last year for 5. Played it for ~30 hours last year before it fell by the wayside for bigger better games. Definitely got my money's worth, I enjoyed the game quite a bit. May go back and romp a few dungeons as a different class now that I think of it. No multiplayer is a drag but it merely makes the game good and not great.

but Torchlight 2 is coming out and will be multiplayer.
Torchlight was amazing, 3 dollars = epic, and Torchlight 2 is gonna be even more amazing. Definitely my favorite Diablo-clone.

Trine is on sale today for a ridiculously low price. Get it if you don't own it already, it's a wonderful jump/puzzle game with amazing graphics, sound and atmosphere.

played Bully scholarship edition, really one of my favorite games ever, played a cracked version that crashed after chapter 3 or something  , will probably buy it :D
New vegas is obviously great, nothing much to say 
considering buying serious sam, 8 euros seems kinda expensive tho

I highly recommend mount and blade to anyone who doesn't already own it. My girlfriend and I have spent many hours playing this game, and it is always fun.
Also, Fire and sword is much better than warband. If you have no skill at mount and blade, go buy warband. If you actually care about challenge, go buy fire and sword.
