I agree. It's also expensive as fuck regardless of games in it - if one was willing to spend that amount of money, should have spent it during the sale instead and got a ton more value for it. But if money isn't the problem, then might as well...

1 graphic mod is recommended. Those have gone far, but since morrowind isnt made for this, they eat a lot of FPS. there is an unofficial patch that i would install as well. other than that i think the game is fine on its own.

Should be good to play that a bit more after the letdown that was Diablo 3.

Is the gameplay similar/worth the buy? Pretty Similar I would say damn near same Genre, I personally Love both Fall 3 and new vegas.

Is the gameplay similar/worth the buy? Outside of an "official" sale period, I imagine that's the least you can get it for in the foreseeable future. It's a good game. Remember that any minor annoyances you may have with the game can probably be changed/fixed via mods (of which there are many). Gameplay is similar to Skyrim and pretty much all Bethesda-style RPGs (even though FNV was developed by Obsidian iirc).

When I was a kid in high school, I played Morrowind almost exclusively for at least 1 year. I knew every little thing about that game including things that weren't even on the Internet ("exploits" more of to get you character maxed in the minimum amount of time). As much as I loved that game as a kid, I would never, ever recommend it to anyone in this current day and age. It just didn't age well. The combat is horrible compared to Skyrim or Oblivion; it's literally impossible to win fights against enemies that are stronger than you because they move faster and 1-2 shot you instantly, then there is the "fizzling" and "missing" from spells and weapons... it's just horrible. Just like in Oblivion and Skyrim, most dungeons have nothing. There are so many things I can say about the game from good to bad, and believe me, no one knows better about that game than me, just don't waste your time. Play Oblivion with OOO or Skyrim with, well, whatever mod is like OOO. Don't play Morrowind. Most people who recommend it to you are living in nostalgia land or don't know any better.
