And The Lord of Steam spoke : Thy shall waste your life upon this game. Praise steam for this awesome price, you'll enjoy it for sure!

For that price those 3 games are absolutely worth it. Both other games aren't for everybody, they both share the same humor so if that's for you then definitely buy them. If you're not sure find a demo or something (no idea if there are any), but for that price getting 3 decent/good games I wouldn't think twice and neither should anyone else.

Well, new game will again be $40+ or something. They'll again only add/change minor things. The choice is yours though, but If you liked the demo a lot $7 is a good price I'd say

Got it. Thanks for the tip. I already own Witcher2 but never played Witcher1 - didn't knew that the Enhanced Edition has visual improvements and things like that. I thought the Game was much older. 11gig for such an old game, crazy. Looking forward to it. :D

dont play the first campaign, gameplay changes made it a bazillion times more difficult. Even if you are good good at 4x games and know the galciv mechanics, it will take a LONG LONG TEDIOUS time to beat some missions.
(the reason is that they changed it so that no battle can be a draw. So the super alien race that appears has stupid amounts of firepower, but their chips are vulnerable. With the no draw change, you can just fight them with suicide because in a draw the firepower determines the winner, and the winner will survive with 1 hitpoit. So to actually kill them you have to build fleets with more ships in them than the alians have guns in their fleet. and that fleet will lose all but one ship every time you do combat.)

Edit : also, bastion - yay or nay?
Currently playing Bastion. I'd say... maybe. Mechanics / responsivness is good. Music is very good. Story is forgettable. Voice actor is decent (good for an indie). Gameplay is generic, repetitive and mediocre.
For the price it's not bad. But dont expect anything stellar.
Decent? Good for an indie? Decent?
If that guy would walk into my room and say a single quote from that game in the same voice I'd strip off my clothes and beg him to find a way to impregnate me with his children.
*cough*
It's... so... good. Also the story is pretty baller and has very strong ups and downs for a game with "this kind" of graphics.

I'm repeating myself but still: "AI War: Fleet Command" & expansions. Storyline is non-existant but it's still the best AI in any game available today. It's scary and also designed for coop. If you think you might like a kind of 4x game with an AI that will remind you of the evil rogue AI in some good sci-fi books, go for it.
Edit: SPAZ is a good pickup for 2 bucks I'd say. It's not really omgomg must-have-super-awesome (my current in-dev fav for this genre is Starfarer) but still very much worth that price. Great to burn a few hours here and there.
For potential German customers; - I'm not sure what it's like nowadays but I can only install my Bioshock version in German, not in English - which annoys the crap out of me. =(

I checked it out, and it looks a bit too complex. I'm looking for a game to play more leisurely with my friends when we get tired of playing Dota.
Edit: Going to check out SPAZ. Thanks for the recommendations.
Ohh... then you totally missed the Magicka sale. That game would be awesome for that purpose. It's basically designed to troll each other all day long. =D
Terraria maybe? Still at -50%.
Trine 1+2 are also really good but more... hmmm... puzzle-y? Also only Trine 2 works via online co-op. Also 3 players max.

Watch a gameplay video on youtube and see if you think you'd enjoy it. The recent Prince of Persia games are made like somewhat clever platformers where the enjoyment comes from being in cool environments and not being technically demanding. They are easy games, but damn are they pretty. (especially the 2008 one)

I've played through Magicka already, and Terraria looks to Minecraft-esque for my taste. Trine looks cool, but I'm afraid that it will be a bit too ... repetitive? It feels like it'd become boring after a few levels.
