Anyone else had the problem that they wanted to buy something and got an error message after entering their information which said there was some problem with the Initialisation or Actualisation? Is that because there might be some kind of overflow on the Steam servers and i just need to wait, or do i have a specific problem here?

Currently playing Bastion. I'd say... maybe.
Mechanics / responsivness is good. Music is very good. Story is forgettable. Voice actor is decent (good for an indie).
Gameplay is generic, repetitive and mediocre.
For the price it's not bad. But dont expect anything stellar.

Bastion is awesome.
Trine 2 is awesome if you have a 360 controller to play local coop with a friend (or 2). It's really fun as a multiplayer sidescroller.

I don't know what you are talking about. I'm looking at the list for last year's summer sale games and I see no significant differences other than a lot of the same games being cheaper this year. The point about there being quite few newer games is fair but other than that how is it "extremely different?" I don't see it, maybe I'm missing something here. The "<<<<<<" and "extreemly" just seem a bit hyperbolic.

Had it for 6 years, purchased well over 300 games, the sales are the same, more or less.

The first sale is always the best. Because everything is new and you can get all those old games for cheap.
Then the next sale basically is just the same old games, with just a few new options - or the same old stuff a bit cheaper.
This sale is not really worse than the other ones.
That said I'm not really a fan of community / flash sales. As in always the same recycled games which were already daily deals. I think it's fine to offer it a 2nd time (people who bought it at the 1st sale will tell their friends to buy it).
But more variety would be better imho.
