A few of my friends swear that its just a standard zombie shooter that pales compared to other ones, but i have a few other friends who play it consistently, your thoughts? It depends on who you play with. Playing it alone is retarded imo. It's like survival against zombies controlled by other people / ai. It's got some nice surprises and alot of action. If you want an epic evening with friends, go for it. If you look for great gameplay, sick graphics and an awesome single player.. nope.

Especially the Dahlia linked murder cases. The game doesn't have that much replayability or depth though. Still think that it is a pretty decent game to just play through once and have fun with it. 7.5 or maybe 8 out of 10 imo(and I have pretty high standards). You are probably going to get much more value for your money if you buy Witcher 2 though.

Noire, but I'm just putting too much $ into this steam sale haha. Can someone tell me, is this better than L.A. Noire etc etc? The witcher 2 easily imo, just better story, better gameplay, longer game .. ![]()

Oh man that's a hard one .. hm Fallout is just way more open and you have a lot of freedom in general about almost everything, The witcher 2 is much more story driven and a bit more scripted. If you can get both do it cause they're both really good in their kind so .. can't really help you there :D. Might still say The witcher 2 cause it's such a good game

Oath is also a good game, but it is markedly harder than Ys Origin. Savepoints in Oath are fewer in number, and the overworld also has some pretty lethal enemies. There were a few times where I died and had to redo long sections of the area, which was pretty annoying. As for boss battles (the highlight of any Ys game), I feel like Origin has the upper hand in visual design, but Oath takes the cake in terms of difficulty. If you're new to the series, I would recommend playing Origin before Oath. The savepoint placement, while it may seem minor, really does make the game a lot more fun to play. Also, if you do play Oath, do note that there is an upgrade system for your armor/weaponry. Talk to the guy in the back of the shop. I only discovered it halfway through the game, much to my anguish. Bear in mind that in Ys Origin, you need to replay the same levels with different characters to fully clear the game. You start the game with two characters, and need to clear them both to unlock the third. The third character's playstyle, however, is fun personified. Well worth the effort, in my opinion. And while yes, the levels are the same, the two initial characters differ enough in playstyle that it's fine. Also, the non-boss sections go by pretty quickly after the first playthrough because you know what to do. I'd put Oath at about 20-30 hours for a playthrough.
