Seriously, who does those computations at Steam? Are they absolutely incompetent at maths, or trying to rip us off? It might have been worth 5€ for me, but surely not 10, especially since i don't really have high hopes on that game seeing as the quality of TW games has (in my opinion) steadily declined with each iteration after Rome.

Right now Spellforce Universe is on sale for 5[currency], its a mix of RTS and RPG and very well known in germany, i think its a steal at 5[currency]. It is kind of unique because its a real mix, the RPG elements are not just levels. There is complete itemization, quests, talent trees, spells, flaming weapons of doom...

They may charge a fee for monetary conversion, as they have to pay a bank to trade currencies.

If a bank demands a 75% conversion fee, i am pretty sure they wouldn't trade with them anymore. 7,50$ at the current conversion would be 5,67€. And it is not only with this game, though it is very blatantly obvious here. Euro usually gets ripped of hard with the prices on steam. Is there any way to pay in dollar? Because if i convert my money to dollar before paying, and then pay the dollar price, it would be far cheaper for almost any game. Which i find pretty absurd.

In Canada, we get quoted the USD price by Steam and you pay the exchange rate conversion from CDN to USD in whichever way you pay (bank includes charge automatically on credit, etc.). I would assume you can use a proxy to set up an account and buy games in another currency but then Steam might flag/disable the account if you use your real IP later (since it would look like you're sharing). Dunno. Edit: Probably against the TOS too.

still risky, best would be a US based trusted person who uses steam.

Which i find pretty absurd. its a huge as joke and ripoff. and pretty much the main reason i rarely buy stuff on steam even on deals. and ofc outside of the -50%//-75% etc deals steam is ALWAYS more expensive then competition. simple example: sf4 AE costs 30€ while a boxed one from amazon including shipping costs 18€. same on new releases, there is always a shop where you can get boxed ones for ~40€, digital sometimes even 30 or 35€. steam will always have the 50€+ tag. btw a "legit" way (but bit troublesome if you arent familiar with it) is buying tf2 items and then trading them for games. ofc not from the shop but sites like sourceop. nothing they can do against that and you get the realy $->€ exchange rate (+some paypal fee tho..)

I have no idea where they came from, maybe the developers of HoMM VI gave them out to those that bought it to give away to friends? I'm not sure. Anyway, I already have the game so if anyone wants a coupon PM me. Apparently there is a bug and every time you restart steam you get ACR and M&M coupons,i have a ton of them and i don't know what to do with them lol.

Highlights: Dungeon Siege 3: $15 Deus Ex and Deus Ex Invisible War $10 Supreme Commander 2 $7.50: Deus Ex Human Revolution $15 (if you don't already own this you are crazy) Theif Deadly Shadows $10 Dungeon Siege 3 was not supposed to be very good (I believe this one was not produced by Gas Powered Games), but for $15 I think I might just pick it up. I really need to get Deus Ex Invisible War, and probably time I actually get a my own copy of Deus Ex (played a friends). Supreme Commander series is supposed to be good, I believe that's what TLO played before SC2, but I have enough RTS's I don't play as it is... Theif Deadly Shadows was the 4th game in the series right? I think this was supposed to be good, not as good as the first three iirc though.

You can buy the Missing Link DLC after you beat the game if you really want to. If any, I would get the Explosive Mission DLC because that's integrated well into the core game. Edit: RA and I obviously had different opinions about them. :D I personally enjoyed the end of the game and wasn't too thrilled to installed The Missing Link and have none of my guns/skills and not much extra to the plot to make it interesting. The core game was great enough.
