I don't know which ATI cards stack up against which nVidia cards, but I have a GF480 and after uninstalling the 3D vision things, I can run in the High preset mode quite comfortably.

The ambience and story is pretty amazing, and the Insane feeling add even more to that when you walking uneplored areas knowing that you may die, so you take every precaution to not. It feels damn real, im not regret that i wasted more like 10 hours or so and died so i need to start again. This weekend gonna start again, and i think i know my mistakes on my death to Kayman, so this time hopefully, ill pass it and explore newer areas with the same Insane feeling! Holy shit how do you have that amount of patience? You must be like some sort of mad, patient robot. I got killed about 20 times just at the bit with the ballista near the start and considered uninstalling the game cause I was so frustrated. Hats off to you. Oh believe me i died as well in ballista fight when i first started at hard, but i took a moment and figured whats gonna be the most secure way way while fighting lots of oponents, at that point i didnt even knew i got some traps and bombs in my inventory. I used to rush into games before, even that i cared about exploring to fullest the story. But this time i throught "Okay, story is good and all , but for that i'd rather read a book, so i got this feeling about really Playing the game, and whats better way to play that when it feels so Real , as i sad i hardly remember this feeling from Diablo, because even if its close, its not the same, when you go throught that dark wood and you got not clue what to expect. Its self rewarding , what more can you ask. And yes , you need patience, and if not, you train the patience this way ![]()

+ Show Spoiler + The ending's not terrible, but the gameplay was disappointing and the pacing was totally off. I'm fine with the resolution of the story, it didn't feel too ham-fisted, but the stuff after Chapter 2 just didn't live up to the rest of the game. I was loving the game so much and now it's a bit of a downer. Also, I sided with Iorveth so I barely saw anything of Deathmold, then all of a sudden he was to be executed for war crimes. Wtf?? What war crimes? I know it was because he knew Saskia is a dragon, but still

+ Show Spoiler + Iorvath route: + Show Spoiler + Was anyone able to prove that Stennis is guilty? I have a feeling that he actually did order or at least wanted Saskia killed, but I can't seem to get all the evidence before the time limit/cutscene trigger. I've tried talking to the peasant, the dwarves, dandelion/zoltan, and Thorzan or w/e that other potter dwarf is called.

You can find a dream in the harpys nest that shows you a dwarf who runs away from someone. That will trigger a new quest and in it's course you will find prove that Thorak forged a fake goblet for Saskia

I just found it very neat that my home town (or at least its name) is featured in a great game like this.
