He is owning up only because his opponents are ever worse. I was watching him yesterday and if we would compare it to SC2, he was a gold level player fighting mostly silvers and an occasional gold or platinum. There was a link to how proper gameplay of good players looks like (the Kabal vs Reptile matches), and those players would be high diamond or low masters (well at the moment with the game being really new really top players still do not exist - in few months we will probably see crazy gameplay come out of good players).
Got to wait till thursday here I doubt it will be as competitive as the capcom/namco fighters but it will definitely be a great game to kick back with some friends for the lulz. And the single player looks pretty immense which is a nice change for fighters.
lol. Couple of friends were going in on MK9 as it got released yesterday, apparently Raiden is ezpz to abuse people with. Just nonstop teleporting and it seems pretty safe D:
This game is so awesome. All sorts of nostalgia. Mortal Kombat was the second game I got for SNES. I still remember the first time I ever got a fatality to work sitting around with my friend with our gamepro magazines in front of us trying them all out. Lol.
I haven't gotten to play the online yet, but the story mode is pretty cool. I've been playing with a SSFIV TE fightstick and the gameplay feels crisp etc. Glad I bought the game.
I'm really disappointed with how Sindel's hair is so much shorter then MK3 and Smoke looks like a retard as well, I know it's kinda silly to care so much about your favorite character's visual features but that's enough to deter me from buying it until it drops to $20 or something to that effect.
