Okay a bit of explanation: This was the second time I've contacted EA support about this one problem. I also had a problem for over a month after release that I was able to fix, but this is a new one. The last time I contacted EA Live support (last night) the person suggested clearing my cache, which I did: nothing changed. Then he suggested shutting down all but a few processes from my task manager. I did this, and it caused my computer to crash and shut down - I REALLY FUCKING HATE THAT. So that brings me to tonight's encounter: *********************************************************************************************** Piyush: Thanks for contacting EA Help! My name is Piyush how may I help you? you: Hi, every time I try to connect to a Battlefield 3 server now, it does not work and I get an error message saying only ""Game disconnected: Something went wrong" and this happens every time. Both "helpers' " solutions were different from the get go, which leads me to believe that these people just have a list of asinine tasks that they tell the person to do in the hopes that the person will get frustrated/bored and quit, or, as in my case, have their computer crash. If the person doesn't leave, they just disconnect you in the guise of a problem with transferring you to another EAExpert. EAExpert, lol. Fuck you and fuck EA for being fucking bastards and hiring cheap Indian support who don't have a fucking clue what's going on and give downright harmful advice, let alone solutions. I don't blame the person giving me advice, they're probably being paid fuck all, and evidently have no incentive to actually be helpful, life for them is easier if they just disconnect when they don't know how to help. My issue is with EA for being fucking cheap-asses. For hiring cheap Indian support instead of training a group of people properly. For relying on their brand to sell broken products to the masses. For releasing a broken product in the first place. If EA were a physical store/company that I could feasibly sue I fucking would on behalf of everyone who has been screwed over by this bullshit organisation. For those of you whose game works, it's easy to look at people with problems and say not me, too bad bro. Well, guess what, it will probably happen to you too. SINCERELY, FUCK YOU. P.S. Also try right clicking BF3 in Origin and from the menu select "repair installation". Maybe that will help. | ||

They really are garbage bottom of the barrel tech support to the point where I don't even bother with LiveChat anymore and I just google. FYI before you want to label what i wrote as "bad" you should probably know I'm pure blooded indian lol Battlelog is fine and i prefer it to actually loading a game. IMO people just hate on it because its the internet and we must hate on everything. I have no problems with it at all (and niether does anyone I know) and it stores everything I want to know in an accessible location. It was annoying at the game start but its gotten much better since then (and I presume in the future it will be better as well) :S. Any game crashes I have is because of BF3 not Battlelog :| | ||

Its just ruining the game for everyone.I despise people who hacks. mmhh saw something like this but the hacker actually used a jet on the ground. he was just driving/standing around on the ground and hitting evrything on the whole map with his gun. i joined the game when he had like 150 kills , got instakilled twice and then left again. another weird guy started hacking after another guy was accused of hacking. like some of my team blaming someone, then he said "he isnt hacking noob, THIS is hacking" and then started to throw headshots around the whole map with his m416 going from 0-1 to like 20-1 in a minute. def more then a few out there. only mildly annoying so far but if hacks are so common it really makes me think about how many more that arent stupidly hacking but using them smart are out there. also i dont think i even saw one hacker in TF2 over all the time i played it, here its been 2 weeks and i saw quite some. they def have to work on that.... btw anyone else feels like flying jets can be quite frustrating? i mean i can fly now ,have most of the stuff unlocked (air radar is coool... when people spot for you.. if not its useless <.<) but between the silent death-> soflam+javelin, mobile aa & choppers locking on you from across the map, enemy jets, stingers etc i more and more find myself just circling over my own base cause if i dare to actually hunt some enemy vehicles in the mid i just die seconds after i used my flares. /edit, 2nd game after i wrote this the next hacker. m98 with support class 1hit killing over the whole map no matter the range or line of sight. its getting annoying -_- /edit2 next server i join, next hacker with 140-2 stats. thought there is a report button in the profile somewhere,cant find it <.< // found it | ||

On one server i was in the same team as the hacker but when i asked if an admin was on and if he could ban this guy i was placed on the opposite team and imidiately killed by the hacker. Usually the admins kick the hackers but often that takes a couple of minutes, and during that time the hacker kills your whole team twice wich gives the opposing team the chance to take the whole map and set up a containment. A situation that is game ending when teams are somewhat ballanced. | ||
