A good portion were from a programmer named Helios. The top 20 or so in all rankings were AA_XXXXXXXXXXX. AA is a website that sells hacks for around $5 a month. (Artificialaiming.com). These people are still, after near 8 or 9 days after release, STILL ONTOP OF THE LEADERBOARDS. God punkbuster is such shit. WTB Vac please. I have not played in the past 3 or so days because of these hackers. I run into one of them and suddenly dont want to play. It's like the developers didnt introduce first person cameras so you wouldnt realise someone is cheating their ass off. How about you introduce first person cameras so we can report these cheaters??. Why did you not put in that functionality? Sure it's a battlefield game and not a counter-strike game... That does not mean you should not put in that functionality so that server admins can know when a player is aimbotting ( this does not even take care of the 10x more players that use ESP and no aimbot). So angry, the game is so damn amazing. But having played CSS competitively for years I cannot stand these anti cheat engines being absolute shit. If ESEA could catch cheaters why cant punkbuster. Seeing these long rants almost makes me want to ignore them. I haven't seen one hacker yet and I've probably played more than 97% of people on this forum, so either you're the most unlucky person in the world or I'm the luckiest. I've played 47 hours so far. You be the judge. Hell open up the freaking leaderboards and check the top 100 for K/D, Skill, Longest headshot. It's absolutely disgusting. I've run into this guy http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/user/BumbIeBee_AA/ like 6 times now. Every game he goes like 50-2 or 50-5. Spamming his website. I'm already quite aware of this website, I even know the programmer by name. They now have a thousand subscribers to their private cheat and there still has not been a single ban wave. This guy has remade his account 5 or 6 times, AA_bumblebee, and so many other names. He gets banned, makes an new account. He only gets banned because he gets notoriety, while the rest of the website has not recieved a single ban wave. To give you perspective, the creators of the first MW2 cheat had a ban wave from vac within 24 hours. This forum still has not even been hit. Way to go punkbuster. Just because you havent seen the hackers doesnt mean they arent there. You could just be the most blind. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/JAcksAA/stats/362598205/ , another. This website had hacks out hours after release and PB has done NOTHING about it. Take the time to look through these guys friends list. Check their recent games, then check their friends recent games. It's absolutely absurd.
Rereading what I posted it sounds like I'm denying that hackers exist I know quite well they exist I was more pointing out the fact that I haven't seen one yet. So there probably not that many or like I said before maybe I'm just really lucky
I have 36 hours played (http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/#!/bf3/soldier/manyexcite/stats/320244464/) bfbc2 didn't have that many hackers(mw2 had way more) so I doubt its going to be a regular thing just give them time

Another funny thing is, that although I have 125% accuracy with my grenade launcher, the 2.94 kills / min comes in a far second to my top weapon, which is 12.55 kills / minute

Knifing in BF3 is some of the most satisfying knifing I've had in any FPS. It's awesome.

Yeah, unless the bastard moves even a little at the same time you are knifing (from behind). Then the knifing is worst i've experienced in any FPS.

I am looking to buy a BF3 server and a Mumble server as well. And If I buy from Multiplay Game Servers I get a mumble server for free (Equal to the slot count and 50% off for every additional slot)
So I might pull the trigger on that unless I hear any negative reactions to Mumble or Multiplay Gameservers.
So I have a few questions. 1) Were is the TL server purchased from? 2) Does anyone have an experience with Multiplay Gameservers (Negative or Posative reaction to them?) 3) Your thoughts on Mumble.

Mumble is maybe the best VOIP there is. So nothing negative to say about that really. Dunno about multiplay.

TDM has to have the most retarded spawns in a game ever made, just so bad. I like aside from that. number of time you spwn in the firing line and just die

.........ok? ive never done one of these before so lets long range fag fight.
first shot i miss.... i readjust, and BANGGGGGG 400 marksmen bonus.
at this stage im completely shocked going OWLOLOLOLOLOL.
but wait another sniper is on the boat,.. this time using the adjustment as before i fire.
ANOTHER HEADSHOT WOOOOOOO same bonus and points feeling twice as manly.
finally there was a guy on the boat doing circles for the chopper. i know theres no way i will hit him but i go for it.
first shot.. miss second shot..miss third shot... BANG whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
the last minute of the game i just spent screaming in chat at how manly i am.
oh i love BF3 Long headshots are extremely fun, I've spend last games looking for that illusive number and I broke my record 280, twice. First on Caspian, running target, although he was running straight towards me so it wasn't very hard - 407m. But I've toped that hard just now 672m ! Operation Firestorm, around the office part straight across the map behind oil rigs in the mountains. It took me around 15 shots to calibrate my new m98b, it was a sniper lying on the ground. Just hit him once, but it was right in the head :D Now I am satisfied. back to playing to win the map with a team, not just hitting stuff far far away :D

Don't let those inferior classes fool you. The entire point of the game is to kill your opponent at the longest distance possible

Getting those longrange headshots is indeed extremely satisfying On conquest maps though you feel kind of...well useless. Not that i ever prone or just sit at one spot at a time, but not capping flags or having to scope around for ages just feels bleh. On rush its way easier actually sniping, moving forward, sniping, even capping if you feel cocky.

Assuming you're not on a server where you can spawn on anyone in your squad, laying down spawning beacon in a building close to enemy cap point can be quite useful actually. Moreover, if you use one of the universal guns instead of the sniper rifle you're not all that much worse than a assault class.
It is true though that without teamwork or buildings to put spawning beacon inside, you'd probably be better off as a different class.
