The commander's position was a victim of a feature that never lived up to its horde of potential. Nevertheless, I think the BF3 guys have probably figured out a good alternative to the commander's position that should be more open to more people in the game. | ||

I dunno about favorite FPS of all time (that would probably be Day of Defeat 3.1 back when it was a mod and Valve hadn't ruined it yet), but I had a blast with BF2. That said I doubt I will buy BF3. Bad Company 2 was a lot of fun, but it was a train wreck of development and constantly plagued with bugs and neither DICE nor EA seemed to care at all. I mean it took them months to fix the medic scoped weapon bug on hardcore servers, you couldn't see pings in the server browser FOREVER, and it is still plagued by "lost connection to EA server" errors. It still has a boatload of issues as well and they seemed to just have dropped support. I plan to follow it heavily, but I dunno if I will end up getting it or not. Will take some rave reviews and action by the developer when problems occur. | ||

I have played both and still find BC2 more fun and alot better then COD, maps are different, teamwork isn't as good as bf2 nor is the game as good as bf2 but your statement is just...wrong. But I do agree that it should be more like BF2 for sure 32 vs 32 is awesome glad to have that back, hope they make medics like in BF2 and hopefully when you get revived it doesn't count as a death still like in BC2. So far it looks like its going too be epic and I can't wait ^_^ | ||
