Yep, I think that unexperienced duo with strafe-zon and golem necro is plain not enough.
I'm trying to get up to level 36 and get a Valk, as well as farm enough money-sockets to socket my bow with more life leech and my armor with diamonds, and take duriel one-on-one against the wall.

seems like this is too based around groups. having unoffical servers could make that hard =(
other than that it looks awesome, id love to try it

Everyone,
I was on for 5 or 6 hours last night and never had more than one person join my game (I didn't ever see any other games up that I could join either). I'm in NM now and need some help - so either:
1. If you're in the later acts of Normal, hit me up and I'll help run you through
2. If you're done with normal help me out!
I missed the boat with a group that ran through NM already so now I feel stuck. I ran up to Andy pretty much by myself, but am not geared to kill her myself...

Corr, is there a way to reroll skills or did that get taken out? Our barb was an idiot and went shout barb...

you can't reroll skills in this game... sorry. that didn't happen until after the 1.10 patch (1.12?) and so it doesn't exist in this game.

everytime I try to create/join a game I get a "cannot load d2client.dll, error182" msg

Man, the spider boss who has Khalim's Eye is a tough SOB. It took me 45-60 minutes to get through the Spider Cavern (because for whatever reason, the tunnel to each lower level doesn't show up on the minimap and is incredibly discreet in such a dark environment)... And when I got there I couldn't even get the boss to 95% health before I burned through all my mana potions because of his crazy mana burn.
Speaking of getting caught up on Duriel, I beat him last night (with the help of someone on the server around my level)... But it was ridiculously close. I burned through literally every potion I had, and had 20HP and no mana left when my final Lightning Sentry took him down.

Yes the spider boss is a total bitch... I still need to beat him get some gear for max poison resist and grab some more people I've been stuck on that quest for forever
I even leveled an alt to like level 24 while I was looking for Act 3 games -_- I'm having so much fun on it too... I think I'm gonna play on that character

I beat the spider last night, although I had a karmic swing during the epic battle.
I'm a Trap Assassin, and I use an Act 3 caster (Cold) as well as a Shadow Warrior to distract while I stay away and set my traps.
Well I get down to the final dungeon, and carefully inch my way toward the boss, pulling the minions and the rest of the trashmob to my traps while keeping the boss away... I get through that fine, and then when it's just the boss, I haven't even used a single one of my 70+ potions (I fill my belt, my inventory, and my Cube)... So I set up some traps and then pull the boss, who immediately kills my Shadow Warrior and then starts chasing me. I see that my Merc is still alive but he isn't doing anything. He's literally standing in one spot, not casting, not moving at all, and the spider is completely ignoring him... So I run my ass around for 10 minute and get about 1/10th of the spider's health down, but since I don't have the Cold caster doing anything, the spider is constantly hitting me and stealing all my Mana as well as poisoning me like crazy. So I go through a ton of potions, and get the spider to about 80% health. I run around trying to whittle his health down for 45 minutes, and get half way. FINALLY, with 2 Healing potions and 1 Mana potion left, my Merc wakes up and starts attacking, which makes it easier to run from the spider since he has cold. But with only 1 mana potion left, I can't get hit once or else I'll be S.O.L. since I can't survive using my claws.
Of course, I lag spike and get hit, so I have zero mana left... So the only way for me to get mana is to run around and take one or two claw swipes at the Bone Cage that the spider casts, to try to get a little bit of mana leech. So I keep doing that, running, getting 1-2 hits, casting a Lightning Sentry, repeat... For another 20 minutes, until I'm on zero potions and the boss still has 40% health. Then, for whatever reason, it runs into the corner of the room and just sits there, while my Merc and I are about halfway across the screen. So now the boss is doing nothing but occasionally spitting poison, which is easy to avoid. So I just sat there, attacked his Bone Cage, cast Lightning Sentry, repeat... Until finally, after about an hour and a half (a third of which was spent with my Merc doing NOTHING, and a third of which was spent with the boss sitting in the corner doing almost nothing) I finally killed the SOB.
TL;DR - My Merc sucked for a while, then the boss sucked for a while, and I won.

Aside from Duriel and the Juggernaut, I've done all the bosses by myself. It's hard to find many people who are just starting in Normal.
I really need to get some +skills gear because my damage on Lightning Sentry (my main skill) is not really that great (1-450).

I played this game a while ago, before 1.13 but I'm having too much trouble downgrading, currently the game is asking me to use my cd and when I use newloader it simply doesn't load anything, I've given up for today. I'll figure this out tomorrow
