skyui is a must have, and very simple to install, the most complicated part is choosing which theme you prefer.

I used to have this companion but I don't know where he is anymore. For a while I thought he was dead but now, everytime I try to get a new companion to join me they say " looks like u already got someone"
Which I don't. Even when I enter a new cave or whatever he does not spawn there with me.
My question is, how can i get him to either die, stop following me (on paper) or get him back to actually following me? and all this without locating him cause I have no clue where he is....
The best way would be to have the PC version and use the console to teleport yourself to them. If that's not an option, then keep waiting/sleeping and hopefully they eventually show up. It's happened to me a couple times before, but they always showed back up after a while.
Which companion is it? Where was the last place you were with your companion before he/she disappeared? There are several of them that have that problem and the problem is bugs... some of which are fixable and some of which are not =(

It's also possible they got stuck in the Gloomreach cave. That cave is horrendously buggy for AI pathing, they get stuck everywhere. The only way I got my companion out was running into them and using Fus repeatedly.
So, I finally got around to buying this game and got it installed, along with the official high res texture pack, only to find it was a buggy unplayable mess. I begin the opening sequence and before long the cart im riding in is suddenly rolling around on the ground, hitting the horse/cart in front of us, and crashing into the unopened city gates lol. I messed with the graphics options a bit, and eventually got into the city, and then the game bugs itself into a halt when I get out of the cart and am awaiting the names to be called. I had to play without the texture pack for the game to be at all playable.
It's not my PC being unable to handle it either (i5 2500k O/C'd to 4.7gig, SLI 570's etc etc). Rather unfortunate, as the game looked much prettier with the pack installed.
Anyway, despite the mess of the texture pack, what I did see had me intrigued and I look forward to exploring the game further in the future!

I'm not actually sure i've been to the Gloomreach cave. At least I can't find it on my map. Do u know where exactly it is?

i have issues with the pack, too. if i activate it, my game shuts down as soon as the thief in the intro starts talking... i tried different solutions but nothing worked. when i disable the pack, there are no problems at all

If I recall correctly after 2 days or something they automatically stop following you and then you can find them at their default location.
Game Informer: As far as sales goes, Skyrim is the best-selling game in Bethesda history. Is there something about the game from a design standpoint that made it more popular and mainstream? The Elder Scrolls series has been typically thought of as very hardcore RPGs.
Todd Howard: The short answer is "I don’t know." I can give you my guess, which is people underestimate how many core gamers there are; people who want a lot of depth and will play a game for a long time. There are a lot of them. If you give them something unique and good, you don’t have to dumb it down.
There are things we changed to make the game better, but not to appeal to a wider audience.

Skyrim seems to be the exception to the rule that single-player only games can’t sell. Is it just about making sure you have enough content for customers so they don’t sell them back too soon?
Consumers are smart. People trade in stuff they like a lot and don’t want to keep. For things like online passes…make a better game and people won’t trade it in. I don’t know.

I like that guy.^^
well the first bolded part is a bit weird because they dumbed down the TES series with every title
Post 100 now. All improving the gameplay in very specific ways ;_;
Even got a mod to skip and disable the main quest. Main thing stopping me from starting up playing again was doing the boring bullshit from Helgen and onward and being forced down that narrow path early on.
I think it's because his destruction level is really low, it increases somewhere in the video to like 16? It would definitely do more damage if he was maxed with perks
