I played a lot of WC3 and always followed the BW pro scene and watched Tasteless and Artosis casts. Their casting in BW is quite humorous as well. Obviously in BW they dive deeper into the strategy and analysis, but since they don't know enough about WC3, they obviously lean more on the humor side of things. I remember watching this live and i was dying from laughter. Great games and great commentary. | ||

Anyway, despite it being funny, the Malystryx (or whatever his nick is) guy is ruining everything and the bad quality on this vid (especially a lot of background noise) doesn't help either. Would be a lot better if they didn't try to turn everything into a joke and tried to cast it while trying to figure out what's actually going on in the game, I think it would be funnier this way (at least from someone with WC3 background perspective). | ||

This is not entirely true, or at least half true. There are VODs, if you can call them that, and I know this because I recorded all the video of the games that has ever been released from that event. Since, the recording was done by me, the quality is pretty fucking terrible since I pretty much set up fraps to record the event for myself while I went out (and I had no experience with streaming or recording at all), so apologises for that. Also as a result of me being the only one to record material, it didn't get very widely released, my bandwidth and general internet situation couldn't handle it. I pushed out a torrent which might still have seeders, and if there is big enough demand I will upload them to youtube or something. Also the aspect ratio is a lil off, since it was recorded off 16. 10 and the program that stitched it all together only uses 16.9. | ||

"What would you suggest to the player?" "Go play Starcraft." Their sarcastic contempt for WC3 is quite LOL-worthy. However, I think it was good that they casted Warcraft 3 since they can now make a bunch of WC3 analogies when casting the WC3 players who switched over to SC2 and are playing in the GSL. Like comparing Banshees to Blademasters when Lyn does some harass. Quite funny. | ||
