Support didn't even answer my ticket and ANet said more than 1 day ago on twitter they are looking into it. Seriously, 3 months in and they can't deal with login issues? Seriously considering stopping this game soon.

I'm liking the new fractals dungeon. Some areas are challenging and require a lot of communication and teamwork. i'm ambivalent about the gear being better stats wise than exotics. On the one hand you really don't need exotic gear for any part of the game. With the later difficulties in fractals you'll need the new tier. So doesn't really matter that much. People can still enjoy the first 10 to 15 difficulties without needing ascended gear. In level 11 now. Just experienced the agony mechanic in 10. I was so familiar with the fights I pretty much never had the agony debuff. Just stay out of red circles as usual.

And it doesn't help that the TL guild is dead so you are always on your own.

I'm on the maguuma server, just started with three characters :3 You'd be better starting off on a T2/3 WvW server, or at least switching while it's free and as soon as possible because there's a bonus lock after switch that you can benefit on by the time you have level 80s. Servers like Jade Quarry have long queues, but their large population is diverse and they enjoy a high player presence in many aspects of play, making it ideal for leveling. Some servers have maps where there are only 2-3 players. Or if you're focused on WvW/sPvP, join Sea of Sorrows. They have a huge dedicated PvP presence on all hours. http://mos.millenium.org/matchups#NA
