I would hope that Priests can maintain their position as main healers for groups, and be rewarded for choosing the support class at the farther extreme. Is this not the case? What makes Mystics better, in healing, than Priests? Is healing fun and rewarding for skilled players? I played Mystic in the beta, and I can't really agree that Mystics are better. I mean, better how? In what? Healing? If it's healing then Priest is superior. More direct heals that heal for a shitton. Priest also get damage barriers and such which help alot in survability. Though Mystic can keep a party up fine aswell. In Utility I'd say Mystic is better. HP / MP orbs with numerous buffs make them a good asset to have. But when it comes to keeping people alive and standing, Priest is better. And healing is definently harder in this game compared to any other game I've played. Mystic and Priests are the hardest classes to play. You need to lock-on your heals, place yourself right for buffs etc etc it's great if you like playing challenging classes. @Shizuru The game as of now has been more or less designed for 5 man party play. Though I've done instances and dungeons with just 3 people aswell. (Takes longer.) Don't really know if there are any 20 people raiding stuff, but I'm pretty sure there will be. That's pretty standard. But when it comes to instances, I take 5 (full party) is what most instances will be about. You certainly have quests where you kill 10 X monster and bring it back. You also have some other ones with cutscenes etc. Then you also have the mainstory (Red Quests) that follow the story line. It's hard to really say how the quests are since they were all in korean. I only did the ''Kill X mob'' quests since they were the only ones I could really figure out. Levelling in the Korean version of the game was easy. With good latency and English text I'd prolly make 38 (max level in Beta, 50 in retail) in 2-3 days. It actually worries me that it might be a bit too easy in the western version. So it's not definently a grind fest. You can easily level through quests. Grinding is fun though in this game since you can do so much stuff, not just the ''point, click, click, click, point click etc'' that you can do while sleeping.

Is there a trial? Can I somehow try 테라(Tera) before paying for it? How much latency do you guys have? I would like to play something in korean... Dont like that "westernize" thing at all. I just don't see them doing a good job, though If they will, would be cool.

So I have few questions: Is there a trial? Can I somehow try 테라(Tera) before paying for it? How much latency do you guys have? I would like to play something in korean... Dont like that "westernize" thing at all. I just don't see them doing a good job, though If they will, would be cool. There is no trial that I am aware of although that might change because they just came out of open beta, and you will be hard pressed to get a verified korean account unless you live in korea (though I am told that there are shady ways of getting it). Latency is good and everything but basically you will most likely have to wait for your regions version.

I've already heard about the need of living in Korea for playing on korean servers before(somewhere in SC2 forum), but that is just rough... I am very interested in those shady ways. ^_^.

hangame requires this number for you to register, dont know the reasons but yeah. me and my friends have tried using SIN generators, it worked for us on monster hunter frontier, but it didn't fly when making an account for the open beta.

But with tera, the setting is fantasy and all the characters have "western" names, so I think the NA or EU versions should be pretty good. Yeah, but by "westernizing" it they said they are essentially making it into a new game. So it's not that they are changing the names of things and re-working the Lore, they could potentially be screwing around with the mechanics, the classes, the character and mob design, that sort of thing. Basically they have a HUGE potential to either make this a fantastic MMO or they have a HUGE potential to retardify it into something that's just going to get blown away once the hype is gone. We'll just have to wait and see!

It seems this game is similar to Lineage 2 which I liked but then it got overrun with the bots. With game being open world (?) what are changes that this will happen here also? Also female hypersexualisation is a bit over the top, lol. I am not sure I am willing to be constantly bombarded by pantsu and boob giggling.

I don't really like it too, I mean - what's the fun getting a boner by playing some retarded video-game? Hahaha... =( But this will certainly increase their income, that is what pisses me off. %_%.

According to Japanese TERA Fans translator Meiellink, in an official Japanese TERA blog, the team announced that TERA would see its CB, OB, and release all in the Summer of 2011. TERA Japan will feature the same client as TERA Korea. The tests and retail version of TERA Japan will of course only be open to residents of Japan, however, it is unknown if you will be forced to use a social security number to join in at this time. TERA Japan's release time schedule is important to Westerners because a few weeks ago, Bluehole Studio CEO, Kang-Suk Kim, stated that the NA/EU testing period will begin one month after TERA Japan's launch. From this information, it appears we are looking at a late 2011 release for TERA in North America and Europe.
