Your level has to generate snow, it doesn't just happen in a world you create. Not yet anyway. | ||

The first night of the game, I hid in a little cave until daybreak. When I tried to get out, there was a dozen spiders just outside my door that destroyed me. Basically right now when you make a new world you will either be in the grass/sand/water filled world or the snow/ice filled world, and there will be no other environmental regions in your world. Notch has been working on a fix for this (biomes) but has thus far been unsuccessful in terms of making it transition well between regions. | ||

The bottom of the pit will acummulate the drops, but no mob´s should spawn there, so you could probably place torches there to prevent it. Obviously this game is in a very early stage, like it doesn't even have a company yet. If you buy it now will you still be purchasing the FINAL product? | ||

He had a huge influx of purchases whenever tf2 featured the game on their blog. I would not be suprised if it was sold on steam whenever it is completed though, but that wouldn't mean that it had a "company", just an indie game. | ||
