One technique: if a certain set items min buyout is say, 9m like it is with Inna's Pants & Chest bid 5.5m on EVERY SINGLE auction without a buyout and then flip for 8m. :-D

I'll get right on that when I acquire 5.5m! Currently cruising around 400k and farming act 1 MP1.

It's doesn't matter the item as long as there is demand... I was looking to give sledge fist a try a while back, saw the min buyout was 600k for the cheapest, bid 255k on like 20 of them with no buyout, won 15 of them, flipped them for 600k+ each. Always try and keep a low balance unless you're actively searching for an upgrade.

I've tried playing again today and I quit the game after about 20 minutes. The will to grind for gear is gone, and without that even the latest patch can't bring me back. I had fun with the game, and my main character (DH) has happily cleared act II inferno.
maybe I'll give it a try again when the pvp patch hits.

Thank you for this wonderful piece of information, my life is so much easier now.

There IS a market out there for gear that isn't best-in-slot, you know. Okey. Thats what I did before, only ever found one "big item" (10ish mill, so not big for all of you ). I just thought that maybe the market for second best/third best in slot was way over saturated now with all the new 63 drops.
Even if the market is saturated, stuff will still sell, just not for as much as before.
I've sold a few items since patch for a few 100k each, I don't have anything better to sell and I don't have a ton of money so it's been working for me.
Sadly, pre-patch I had a lot of success flipping bracers for a few million; post-patch has really hammered the price of mid-tier items. But still, something is better than nothing.

Indeed. I just spent the 600k I had from a few runs on a weapon to replace my 20m bow that I salvaged. :p

Can someone on EU please help me out? Need the very last quest (kill diablo basicly) on inferno.

would really really help, want the whimsy done
edit: tnx mr Hairy!

i get like 5-6 legendaries a day so...

i found two legendaries (both upgrades) yesterday. at one point i thought the game was broken because i kept getting such high end items. i was doing alkaizer, mp1. game is much better now that drops are better and paragon levels are there. i am still working on getting the hellfire ring.

Depending on your DPS and MP level, I think the most efficient item-wise is just to plow through most of act 3 starting with siegebreaker quest. Make sure you have 24% movespeed though for efficiency. Start at depths 3 -> 2 ->1 is optional, then do bridge of korsik all the way to azmodan, although you can skip the section before rakkis crossing as it is a little less dense than other areas.
