You only need an authenticator if you're stupid or computer illiterate, and so cannot protect yourself from phishing scams and keyloggers, or if you don't use different passwords.

Don't you have to buy one of those? But seriously, fuck Blizzard, it's not the consumer's responsibility to have to protect themselves. If they would just allow offline singleplayer mode or LAN there wouldn't be any of this bullshit for those of us who just want to play casually. Fuck you Blizzard.

Chinese gold farmers hack your WoW account, not your bank account. No one cares about people who hack WoW accounts. But when you hack a bank account, then it's serious business, expect the FBI and the police to be involve, expect arrests to happen, and your money to be tracked down and usually returned.

It's your responsibility to lock your door, be careful when using your credit card, and choose safe passwords, online games are no different.

It IS possible, though quite unlikely. Btw, didn't this come from having old version of flash or something?

Provided that you have the money to shell out for a "smartphone". I don't, and I apparently can't download apps for Android/iphone without actually having an Android/iphone.

There is no evidence that Blizzard has been compromised. Blizzard has never been compromised. This is entirely your fault. Like I said, social Darwinism in action.
